What is work in physics? We all do lots of work: homework, working on projects or working at a job. But in physics work has a very specific meaning. This video explains everything you need to know about how and when work is done in physics. Also explained is the relationahip between work and energy. Five different example problems will show you how to calcualte the work done on an object by a force, the distance the force is applied and the force needed to do a given amount of work. Everything is explained step by step.

Hi! Do you have a video like this one where you do include the angle (cos theta) assuming the force is not being applied in the same direction as the object?

An question, an engine of 2 horse power (1500 watts) turns at 3500 rpm. Another 2 hp engine runs at 1350 rpm. Witch engine put will give me the most torque?

At 9:19. If an object weighs 64 newtons, wouldn't you need a force greater than that to move it up?

To raise the object at a constant velocity you have to apply a force equal to the weight of the object.
