BIBBULMUN TRACK Episode 4 - Unwanted Fires, Ticks, Walking Into Town!

In episode 4 of hiking the Bibbulmun Track we start with an unwanted fire as we make our way towards Dwellingup. Lots of milage is being done in this episode and we come across some amazing landscapes again! Finally, we end up in Dwellingup for some well deserved rest. Again, beautiful camping spots and amazing people! Follow me as I show you what you can expect on your own Bibbulmun Track adventure. I hope to inspire you to go out and hike!
A few months ago I decided to hike the Bibbulmun Track in Western Australia. It was an incredible adventure and met the most amazing people on the way! The Bibbulmun Track stretches 1000km from Perth to Albany in Western Australia. Hiking the Bibbulmun Track is challenging but rewarding. The heat, the gravel, the flies and the wildlife did not hold me back!

Some really stunning forests along the way, even with the burns... Too many flies again... And a tick too. Arrrg.

hahaha yes the flies are a pain 😂😂 The more South, the more magical the forest gets, its soo good :D :D

Interesting rock sliced perfectly cut in half with a egg on top. I don't buy into bird poop being good luck don't worry you'll have your shower soon.

Love the videos! Well done. 30km days! Ouch, I top out at 20 to 25 max :) so many classic moments in your video from what I have experienced. I was planning to do Dwellingup to Collie, and have another go at the Stirling Ranges ridge.

Awesome content! I'm going to do an e2e in September and your videos and making me so excited! Do you have any advice for dealing with ticks? I've never come across them before. All the best on your travels, Darcy.

Thank you! I am so glad you like it 🙏🙏😄 I removed all ticks with tweezers. This is a good video to watch kzfaq.info/get/bejne/aJ19ltaY2rKWf5s.html You can also get a device that freezes ticks so you can remove them safely. Avoid sitting around the grasstrees - apparently ticks like them a lot 😂 Enjoy your journey! I am so excited for you :D :D

Would you recommend staying in those walkers huts, or would somewhere else be the better option?!

The huts along the track are pretty good. There is always a toilet, water tank and tables. Also, there are very little alternatives, and its especially crucial to fill up your water at the huts. I am currently looking into alternative accommodation options along the track :D :D

@@DorisHikingAdventures strangely enough, guess where I am staying right now? In the hiker huts in Dwellingup! and possibly the same room judging by the roof! lol. but all good. I’m glad to be kicking my feet up for a day.
