Unlike private raised poultry, these bird never have the opportunity to live their lives in the short time they are alive. I've worked in all sorts of poultry facilities. This isn't farming, it's manufacturing. Even the people who grow them for these places lose out. Sometimes LOSING money for their work.

What lives? They literally aren't given a life in the first place, and I'm not just talking about the male chicks who get shredded right after they hatch. There's a reason why they didnt show what the farm looked like when the chickens were fully grown. Because it's a fucking nightmare and would probably get age restricted on youtube. Try searching for these kinds of videos on websites like Liveleak or Kinderworld. You'll be surprised about the difference.

These poor hens have never seen even a tiny bit of green or blue sky through their entire lives. They never had freedom to run... I buy my chicken from a local farmer who raises his chicken with love and care. They're enjoying fresh air and great love whenever they need it. Not only are their lives way better, but their meat and especially their meat will taste soo much better. You can see that the color of their egg yellow is different

Unfortunately, billions of people wouldnt have chicken meat to eat if every farmer produced like that. Technology makes a bigger and faster production, so its easy to sell and buy, and its also cheaper. Nowadays organic food can be consider a luxury...

@@avcl8796 I see your point. I must point out that I don't pay more money at the farmer's market than at the grocery store. Even if it were more expensive at the farm I would just eat meat twice a week and have high quality meet than eat meet every day but sacrificing quality. Especially the vegetables last much longer and taste fresher and juicier at the market but are cheaper at the same time. That's because they don't import nothing. Sell depends on the season of the year. Of course I understand your point

These are not the ones you eat at KFC these are free range chicken. They actually have standards. %90 of the facilities are waaaaay worse than this. This is one of the best cases actually.

Meat production is inherently inhumane, but I don’t think that makes it unjustifiable. Are wolves inherently evil because they kill and eat deer? What about hyenas, who eat prey alive? Are they evil? Killing and eating is just part of nature.
