Verse 35 of 11 I believe is a “phantom switch” character, like Antiochus that is to sort of replay those events, like a replication in the time of the end that will mimic the Maccabean event. I am also drawn with interest unto verse 37 of 11, which presents the “or to the one beloved by women”, obviously referring unto Tammuz, the failed deity, which I associate with the one from town of nowhere vile where that certain watch tower with consecrated branches came from a bit later. Verse 45 is another phantom switch between the previous subject to “Michael” in 12:1. I guess we could say that the Maccabean event was being used as a map that is to be replicated at the end.

The "man" in Daniel is actually the spirit of prophecy which is the Spirit of God. Thise messenger brings wisdom and knowledge to the prophets.

although most commentators seem to believe the 4th kingdom was Roman, others such as Robert Gurney and John Walton have believed it to be Greek. This makes more sense of v40-45 with the ending of the Greek empire.

Has anybody noticed that the description of Jesus in Revelation 1 is the same description of the angel in Daniel 10? Are the early Christians (i.e. Paul's followers) using Daniel to describe the resurrection body?

Do you think Paul believed Michael and Jesus are the same person when he writes 1 Thessalonians 4?

God please continue to give me strength because I’m losing hope. As Christians it’s important to trust God no matter what we are going through. God is our only strength in this world. Like many other single parents things are tough on me. Both of my sons are autistic. I’m constantly struggling to provide for them and now that I’m home schooling them things are especially hard. I’m having trouble getting their school supplies. I’m overwhelmed. Father God hear my prayers. My faith in you is strong! Even as I constantly struggle to pay my rent. And I constantly struggle to provide groceries for my children. I trust you Lord! I’m keeping faith. Walking with faith is the most important thing us christian’s must do. Mu'awiya was the Ruler of Syria & had control of the areas of Moab Edom area during those days. After the Death of prophet, the Umayyad Dynasty created some schism in the Muslim world which till date revibrates in the Muslim world. Mu'awiya had a neutralish relation with the Romans during early days & perhaps later. He married a Byzantine Christian princess. You should dig into the Muslim world to find the continuation. (P.S. I am very glad you said Daniel "almost" ends with Antiochus IV, because it doesn't at all, and you do seem to have an understanding about the time of the end being the destruction of the statue's feet, an event understood as Jesus' Second Advent, by all non-Catholics believers. The reason you don't seem to know how to apply what "the time of the end" means is because you are completely ignoring the historicist method of understanding prophecy, which is what all biblical scholars used, all Reformers including, until the Jesuits Ribera and Alcazar in the 1500's seduced and confused the entire world with two perfectly opposite views (to each other). If you instead chose to use the Bible to interpret itself, then you would understand that God provided "a day for a year", key to understand prophecy, which essentially means Daniels prophecy ends 2,300 years later, and THIS IS when the "Time of End End" begins. Using Daniel 9's Seventy Week period of this prophecy, you can see that this 2,300-year prophecy starts in 457BC, when Artaxerxes decreed to "build and restore Jerusalem", points to Jesus' ministry and death on Earth with incredible mathematical precision and ends in 1844 AD. This is when the Times of the End" begin. You can then use "The Revelation of Jesus Christ to Apostle John to truly understand our times and who the real Antichrist is.

30:26 This would do violence to the text. The King of the North is always a Seleucid Greek king, and the King of the South is always a Ptolemaic Greek king. To say that the King of the North (and the King of the South) in v. 40 are kings of completely different empires is really a strained explanation.

I'd imagine this happened during the Babylonian captivity. The sheer amount of biblical contradictions that has caused is staggering. Yahweh is a Deity (Elohim), not Deus (El), and a false one at that. Yahweh says "I am Yahweh your Elohim (Deity)" like a thousand times in the Old Testament. The Elohist uses the possessive context for Elohim (except when referencing the false Elohim). The Yahwist, Priestly and Deuteronomist use the plural context for Elohim (except when referencing the true Elohim). What is the heresy of two powers in heaven? The basic heresy involved interpreting scripture to say that a principal angelic or hypostatic manifestation in heaven was equivalent to God. The earliest heretics believed in two complementary powers in heaven, while later heretics believed in two opposing powers in heaven. This "heresy" isn't a heresy at all since we're talking about Elohim (Deities in Latin), not El (Deus in Latin). The Bible isn't mainly about El/Theos/Deus or whatever language you want to say the title (not a name) meaning God. The Bible is about Elohim (sons of El). This nullifies the "no two powers in heaven" heresy. Good vs evil Elohim, True vs false Elohim, Chosen vs usurper Elohim, Necessary vs contingent Elohim, Genesis 1 Elohim vs Genesis 2 Yahweh Elohim. Bibles should note when Elohim is used as plural or possessive. They do not. Try reading the NOG translation on Bible Gateway website. Uncensored. El and Elah titles of God are also mentioned in the OT but not until much later in the story and far less frequently than the true and false Elohim from Genesis 1 and Genesis 2. Theology comes from combining two Greek words: Theos, meaning God, and Logos, meaning Word or rational thought.
