How many words in Greek do I need to know to be fluent in it to the point I can fully express myself in a complex conversation?

Profesor I have a question❓ How do Orthodox Greek priests pronounce the new testament? I'm not Greek but I'm beginning to suspect that they that they just read it as the modern greeks natives do, and that they don't preserved any special pronunciation that was passed down. Is that true?

Which (modern Greek pronunciation) is way more correct (authentic) than "Erasmian".
