Bicuspid Aortic Valve (BAV) and Aortic Stenosis

Күн бұрынBicuspid aortic valve (BAV) is a defect in which the aortic valve has only two cusps (instead of three). Over time, the two cusps can thicken and lead to a narrowing of the aortic valve (known as aortic stenosis).

@@mothraw1 Wdym by tips? I have BAV and I just live with it. Your son may need a surgery to replace the valve if it has the problems listed here Aka not closing properly and being too tight.
