Oil affects the price of everything. When the price of oil goes up, the cost of transportation of the jar of strawberry also goes up. That's why your local grocery store has to charge more. It is all interconnected.

This is not the intended purpose of the SPR. It is meant for emergencies (i.e. natural disasters) and the military. Also, we use far more in a day, so it's pointless to further deplete the reserve.

You are correct. Biden promised to replenish the oil he took when it got down to $70/bbl or below. In May 2023 it got down to $63, and he did not buy any oil. And then last month he said he was cancelling the refill promise altogether. These are the facts, and they are indisputable. The trolls just spout non-stop lies and think we are stupid.

The oil reserve was created when we thought we ran out of oil under ground in the 70s, now we’re the number one oil producer in the world (fracking, advanced oil drilling tech, etc), the reserve is irrelevant now. Releasing only 1 million barrels, though small relatively, will lower price, we did the same in 2022. In case of emergency, we can ban US oil export, then we’d be swimming in oil😊.

This is misinformation. They are not selling from the strategic petroleum reserve. They are selling from the Northeast gas reserve which the Republicans voted to close when they redid the budget this year.

What you should also report on is that they’ve been cutting the gasoline with more ethanol lately. I’ve noticed about a 40-60 mile difference in gas mileage on a full tank of gas. I used to get about 350 miles per tank and now I’m getting about 290-300 per full tank. Same gas same station as it’s right up the street from my house.

Trump never did a thing for me other than stress me out for four years over fears of losing my insurance coverage. If he gets reelected I'll spend another four years worrying about losing my social security benefits.
