The only American who won't acknowledge this Administration's failed economic policies is Joe Biden. "Shrink-flation' is the least of our worries compared to rising rents and stagnant wages, but it is an undeniable indicator of how bad our inflation has gotten. I have $100k that i like to invest in a non-retirement account, any advice on that?

I would avoid index funds, mutual funds, and specific stocks for the time being. Right now, the best option is a fixed income of five percent. Put money aside for the times when the market really starts to bounce back.

Most of GDP growth is due to government spending not consumer spending, deficit increased twice as fast under Biden as under Trump, prices over 4 years increased 40%, jobs created are small jobs from which people need at least 2 to survive. I am an economist and I can tell you that your facts are crooked.

This kind of tax increase on Small Businesses, would simply result in them to 'close their doors', and with unemployment increasing across the Country. As example, look at what the Fast Food industry is presently experiencing today, after they incurred sugnificant labor cost increases. The average consumer has simply decided not to purchase their goods and services, because their retail price increases are not worth it.
