David, sir... Though rare, I can't say I always, 100% agree with you or your interpretation of some topics/statements. But the majority of the time, I do. I find you very grounded, quite learned, and intelligent... and often very funny in your dry wit. I am 60 years old, disabled and on a very limited budget. it always was. he plays dirty and he's only become more desperate and filled with hatred over the years. in 2016 he threw a fit for not winning the popular vote and attacked clinton in any way he could. throughout 2019-2020 he harassed the biden family and called everything unfair. jan 6th. it's not likely that he'll take this election and loss well. the further into the election, the more rabid he and his cult will become. in november when he loses again.. all hell will break loose. i just hope that this time his legal issues will hold him back, if only a little. his constant threats on people's lives.. if he could.. he would do so much worse than jan 6th.

Curious that only about 5% of the GOP voted to let the motion to vacate go forward rather than tabling the motion , but it was the Democrats that saved speaker Mike Johnson? If all of the Democrats had simply voted present rather than voting yes or no on tabling the motion, her motion to vacate would have still failed with 95% of the GOP voting to table the motion.

gay conversion therapy is also done against people's will a lot of the time so that is also a big part of it. if people don't want to be gay I can understand that but from my experience just trying to deny that you are this way just makes you feel worse. getting gender affirming care is something to embrace who you are and conversion therapy tends to be running away from who you are. you are not something that you need to "fix", you are perfect the way you are and if you feel that getting a surgery is going to help with accepting yourself I don't know why anyone else should have an opinion on that

Shortly after Trump was elected in 2016, I came up with a you tube channel idea. A game show like format where a “host” would read answers Trump gave to journalist and players would have to try to figure out what question the reporter had asked him. But I’m not very good in front of a camera so I didn’t pursue it. 🤷♀️

FYI.. Louisiana Democrat here.. so, in case no one is paying attention after the 2020 census the state legislature had to redraw the voting district lines because African Americans make up 30% of our state and of 6 congressional districts there was only one minority majority district.. legislature redrew the lines which was vetoed by Dem Gov at the time and judge said it had to be redone. Republican Gov won last fall and called special session to redraw lines. They were drawn to protect Maga Mike Johnson and Steve Scalise. Now LA Supreme Court has struck that down.. we have currently no Congressional lines..

Yes! Years ago I read a story in R Digest about a toddler showing neurological symptoms and upon testing it was found that a parasite had invaded his brain! The bat-sh!t crazy MAGA-cult will vote for Ttump even if he eats a baby live on stage, and the GQP can't win the popular vote without those folks, should they ever denounce Ttump and pick another candidate. The Reputincan race with Nikky Haley and the other candiddates was pure show, their front runner was always TTump. I watched Masterson's video a short time ago. It was stunningly anti-climactic, just raw footage, unscripted, and no questions asked of visitors other than, 'What time is it', which I wasn't sure who was asking! Trump was shouting his fuehrer talk in the background. No MTN commentary was needed. I was truly impressed.

Simple rule on tariffs: for consumer products if the Chinese government subsidizes these industries (like in EV's, Solar Panels etc.) with the stated goal of destroying competition in the target markets (yes, if you listen carefully you can hear them say it), equalize with tariffs. Oh, and do not forget to force them to show that security features required are there and do work as expected; not as easy to copy than the general features) Looking at industrial inputs - steel, aluminium - base it on a case to case analysis.

I think that all tariffs need to have a fixed duration, say 5 years, after which they would need to be renewed. This will allow for the temporary support of our national industries while also providing an incentive to become more competitive. On a separate but related note, tariffs can be justified when foreign governments are subsidizing their exports at the expense of domestic manufacturers. This is actually the most common reason given for putting tariffs on goods.

I have a phonetic processing disorder, part of my therapy included writing out words in cursive while “trying” to sound them out. All I can say is that I’m still a bad speller, but most wouldn’t consider me disabled anymore. (Spell check is also a godsend)

I am familiar with crowd size at events. There was NO WAY 100,000 people in attendance. I would guesstimate on the high end 36,000-40,000. Problem was.....they were leaving in droves.

An acre can hold about 20,000 people. A football field is 48,000 square feet. An acre is only 43,650. If you include end zones its 57,600 square feet.

I think our tariffs should match other countries’ tariffs on our exports. If our top export to a country is taxed XXX%, then we automatically do the same for their top import to our country-a kind of reciprocal tariff system. This way, they can’t complain as we are doing the same to them as they do to us.

Sorry David! I'm been a subscriber for many years, and are pro Democracy and pro Pakman. So this is not personal... but you're completely wrong about Chinese EVs. They are not Excellent, as you say. The quality control in China is heavily compromised, and the fire and failure epidemic on Chinese EVs is not made up. David often say everyone should change to EVs. But the cost for an average income person, it's almost impossible, with service costs skyrocketing to heights exceeding the cost of the vehicle. I think EVs are the future, but it's too early and battery technique isn't stabilised or environmentally ready yet! For now, it's a money grab, which actually is dangerous! BTW, your analysis on gay and LGBTQ care was on spot, kudos!

exactly! I think David fell for chinese propaganda. I see it all the time in certain media, like Business Insider and Wirtschaftswoche. These articles shill for chinese EVs without even mentioning the circumstances under which they are produced. It's a scam and all about cost-undercutting while presenting a shiny front.
