Hello mate, thought I’d comment on your most recent video. I’ve started my own window cleaning business, I do have experience from previous jobs that I’ve been in. I currently have numerous applicators, squeegees, and a ladder. How do you price jobs? Cheers!

Great video and roof tiles are amazing. One question, after using the miasmatic to clean the tiles what was the chemical used on the brush, just soap to clean or a sealer? Thanks

It’s a biocide treatment to help prevent regrowth.

Sorry but I don’t know anyone who does it in your area. There seems to be lots of people buying the kit and having a go without fully understanding what they’re doing, so yes, It’s good to be cautious.

Great! I do have the same equipment but only have done a few jobs this way. Are you never worried about water leaking somewhere? What if it does?

Not at all. I reduce the pressure and it covers the surface in a very even way.👍🏼

What kind of pressure is that running at? I ask because I’m a roofer and I’ve replaced two full roofs in the last 5 years from people having their roofs pressure washed. Pressure washing the roof can make the tiles porous, they then absorb water and if freezing weather comes on top of that they just crumble. Seems like maybe your system is slightly lower pressure though? I also clean roofs but do it the old fashioned way with a scraper, then soft wash with BAC50. Just be careful you don’t do any damage with pressure washing that may take time to become apparent.

Yeah, there’s a big difference between using the full force of a turbo nozzle and a flat surface cleaner with reduced pressure split across two fan jets. I use a specialist setup at reduced pressure followed by a biocide treatment.👍🏼

Hi mate What happens with all the dirt that lands on facia and windows and driveways etc do you clean that all up after the roof clean within the price ? Also what price is did you charge on this ?

All the mess gets cleaned up as part of the job. We would never want to leave a mess like that without cleaning up after ourselves.👍🏼

My roofer has put a breathable sealant after removing all the moss.There are still alot of white marks and some stubborn moss is it worth getting some bio powder/spray on to help what’s left clear itself ?

A biocide treatment will kill off any remaining organic growth, then it will gradually weather away. So a regular treatment every few years is a great way to maintain the roof in good condition.
