To me personally, what matters the most is that the series is in-line with the Islamic principles and guidelines, and second most important thing is that it has a meaning which hopefully can make us all better Muslims and bring us closer to each other, perhaps even benefitting our Ummah. I cannot wait to see it.

I'm so excited to see this new drama series. Personally speaking Mohammed Hijab is one of my role models because he showed me how to become a strong Muslim man - his Quran recitation, his demeanor, his dawah, his debates, his fighting training, his jokes, his laughters, his knowledge, his wisdom, his politeness, his humility - everything. I truly would love to see him showing the challenges Muslims go through in Western countries. Plus Hijab would upload it to his channel for both members and non-members which is great for me😅 because I don't have enough money to spend on movies and tv shows.

Good. It's a way to portray our story in a more meaningful way. There will surely be criticisms yet ignore it. All that matter is the intention. I really like this. I was just thinking about Fydor Dostovesky and the impact that his books have to this day. Through the medium of story, he really provided excellent counterclaims for things like nihilism, and purely theoretical philosophies, making specific arguments. For example how nihilism and hedonism are warnings that can lead to X outcome that is undesirable, (and many many more). I find his books make these arguments and continue to be a phenomenon for Christians to connect back to the values of their religion. A strong story narrative, which shows the real struggle, shows the psychological perspectives, makes arguments against things like feminism, hedonism, extreme individualism etc. and shows the high-level effects of that are such a powerful tool. Abstract philosophy is not always translated in the mind of every person in the same way, and in many discussions, like the ones in Ali Dawah's series with the discussions, people approach conversations generalizing situations and providing a commentary on it, without going deeper. As a result one side might seem selfish and the other heartless; these are not the values of our deen. I definitely think that a narrative method provides such a healthy and solid way of discussing social, political and economic ideas that it would be such a strong tool for our Ummah. Ofcourse, I say this with recognizing that Allah has used story telling to inspire and contextualize the implementation of deen.
