You're my favorite teacher KZfaqr because you deliver helpful, entertaining advice and (as far as I've seen) you don't try to weasel in social (aka political) causes into your content. Keep up the great work, Thom!

I’m a student that is going in to 8th grade this year and im wondering why my teachers yell at me for no reason, most people say that im the sweetest student but I still get yelled at

Hard to say. Last year was hard for a lot of teachers; not a reason to yell at kids but it may be a contributing factor. What you could try is waiting behind after class and just approaching the teacher and saying that you do want to help make the experience in the classroom better for yourself, your classmates, and your teachers...and ask if there's anything you're doing that your teacher notices that may be getting in the way of that. If a student came up to me and said that, I'd really be impressed with their maturity and would share any insights I could in a calm way. But I don't know these teachers though so no promises on how they'll respond!
