The first DC Impact version of the Archie characters had lacklustre stories and art varied. Their second attempt with the Crusaders was so much better and a darn good read.

😎Definitely enjoyed those first 4 titles Brother Shannon. The quirky nature of that Shadow series seemed Pulp fitting. Oh , I too took a liking to Giffen's LSH run. Byrne's OMAC is a great read , the b/w interior added to its interest. In All Star Squadron #30 my fan letter got published and Roy did consider my suggestion of creating an Earth 2 version of the Teen Titans hence the Young All Stars ;🙄 ok , it may have just been coincidental that Roy already had the idea the same time I did , but knowing that I may have been partially involved in bringing the team together makes me feel like maybe Snapper Carr / Rick Jones in a way. Except for OMAC I read the other titles every so often.

Hey Shannon. Speaking of Shadow comics, a while back Captain Strangelife showed some I think 50's era Shadow comics, the first few issues had very cool covers, but after that they changed his look, I didn't like it at all. Very cool books, especially Unexpected#210 & Action Comics#459. Speaking of Superman, they released pictures of the new actor in the Superman costume, I like it for the first time since Christopher Reeves, this is the most accurate costume, the chest shield is a little different looks like the Kingdom Come Shield, but he has the red trunks & a accurate belt, he even has the hair curl. Like I said in my opinion this is the most accurate costume since Christopher Reeves. Cool Mego reissues, I had alot of the original Megos in the 70's, the box & the dolls as you know that's what we called them back than😂 looks pretty accurate to the original box & dolls. Sorry for the long comments.

Wow! Fun haul brother , great job on the young All Stars. If you need to fill some more holes in that I have some doubles. Cool Web books ,I never seen those.i also have those Doc Savage series. Still trying to complete . Of course we remember Blackrock 😁 that's a fun Adam Strange book I'm sure you will enjoy that also. Just awsome figures brother. Great stuff as always. Hey Anthony! There are a lot of haters on that Legion run but I really loved those first 25 to 30 issues when Giffen and the Bierbaums were involved. The Shadow run is one I’ve been wanting to complete for a while and was happy to find those issues. I’ve talked about that great Omac mini ad nauseam and will CONTINUE to do so! Lol I need to pull out that All Star Squadron issue so I can see your letter! Sounds like Roy Thomas and DC owe you royalties! 😊 Take care brother!

That Omac run's pretty good. Some nice Young All Stars as well, we got to see Dyna-Mite shine a bit in that series, I liked Iron Munro as well and we got another evil version of the JLA in Axis Amerika. Those Mego figures are very nice, rather surprisingly I don't have any super hero ones from the newer ones but I do have a lot of the horror ones and some Ultraman and Killer Klowns ones 😄

I find quirky versions of the classic characters like in your Shadow books can work pretty well. Like the bruce timm, darwyn cook stuff of the spirit a while ago. 95% off 19.00s free credit went pretty far great shares before you called it a day my friend
