I got the UTV Stereo big battery kit. Pretty much identical. I agree that last bolt is no joke. I ended up buying a shorter bolt. That stupid bolt took me longer than taking the seat out and installing the jump posts. Not to mention there is a strong possibility I created new threads. Great video as always! Keep it up.

Welllll. Turns out we both installed it incorrectly. There is actually a correct way to install it.. check out tmw battery strap video

It would appear so. There was no mention of that blind voodoo wedge install from underneath in the instructuons that came with mine.

I'm leaning towards the big battery like you. For backup / emergency starting power I'm wondering if my 20v DeWalt pack or your Milwaukee 20v pack plus the appropriate DC 12v adapter and some alligator clips could start the car? Maybe the Flex Volt stepped down to 12v might have enough oomph.

@@GLifeUTV after posting, I looked up a ProjectFarm video on battery pack comparison. Yeah, I think they can put out something like 500 or 700 watts. That's like 50 amps a 12V. I think it could start the Can Am. So carrying a tool for breakdowns might also act like a jumpstarter too with the right DC to DC adapter.

Very nice video like always. Question what is the difference between bigger battery and dual battery and why you decided to go with bigger battery? I just ordered the dual battery and I'm wondering what is the difference. Thanks again for you videos.

I kinda explain it in the video. Al though dual battery has its advantages i believe a single battery kit is best for longevity. Cheers. Either is a welcome upgrade

If you're going to run two batteries, I always recommend you run two of the same batteries.

you said on the 2021 CanAm they up graded the charging system, My battery is the same as yours 270 CCA. I may need to upgrade due to all the lights and wench Is The FT-560 still ok to use for my 2021

Yes.. but not 100% if its only the upgraded stator on the smartshox version... This full throttle battery for me had been great

2020 does NOT have the charging issue, the stater was upgraded after 2019.

U may be right. I do remember seeing that the 21 with smartshox with has an upgraded 850watt stator . Either way neither can keep up with as many accessories that most people run nowadays. And bigger capacity or dual batteries are recommend

You istalled the bracket plate incorrectly. The plate actually goes on the underside of the car and it will fit perfectly. Those bolts sticking up are eventually are going to wait a hole in the bottom of your battery.......not good brother, could cause a fire

I'm aware. There was no video or instructions before. But ur right. Also it wont wear a hole and put a foam pad in between.. back then. It's since been changed
