yea its a bit scary sometimes when a loud car burnouts right near you with high speeds, people do lean a bit off when someone wants to show off, but that time where there is lots of people was when 2 car events were combined and there was no space to take few steps away.. usually everything goes ok. Cops do appear sometimes but usually they let us be, which is nice. I'm putting my money on a small block. 383 with heavy mods is my guess. I've never seen a Malibu (this modell) with a 454 without a 2-4 inch scoop. Can't be. (I'm lying, because I've seen some without a scoop, but only two.) I just have a hunch about this car. Would love to talk to the owner about it, because it really packs some power.
