i am doin same on a 92 s10 with a 468bbc , ima try and use fender well headers for a 57 chevy as i will not be runn wheel tubs , i think theyll fit wats ur opinion

manual if on street , use a high flow . electric is good at track cause you can let it run between races

For the control arms do I go with both right or both left or a right In a left

Joahua Farve use 2 left side arms , flip one over for right side .

Nice double jointed finger there!! ha ha ha OK, but where do we find these headers? I mean, who is selling them, and what are these called? You said we need to buy two sets, I'm assuming one set is for some other vehicle, and the other set a different vehicle? Just "buy headers off of eBay" isn't helping me. Thanks. can a person use cast iron manifolds? what are they out of you know? Is it required to remove blower box completely?

Chevelle manifolds works best and yes heater box needs removed or modified to clear cylinder head.

@@teal61762 We have used 68 to 72 manifolds where driver exits in front of oil filter straight down and passenger exit and a angle back and down .

This is the only video that actually has good information all of the other S10 454 vids are just guys starting and reving the engine who gives a shit the 454 sounds the same in in a full size truck as in and S-10 those videos are worthless yours is really good I'm getting ready to do a 427 S-10 swap I think I'm just gona go with fender well headers

Myvintageiron7512 thank you, i wanted to show it can be done without hacking up the truck to fit engine in the truck. and on the cheaper side of things. i would recommend using a 1994 and up chassis as they had a narrower engine crossmember and boxed back to rear spring mounts. my truck has a 1998 chassis under it. i am building a new set of over the frame headers now for this truck as it is getting a blueprint engines 540 over the winter. my son is taking the 496 for his truck.

I have a 98 s10 blazer with all s10 4x4 supposition and and 10 inch lift and I'm about to put a 454 BBC in it oh ya I do have a 8 inch body lift also

Kaylie Keller manual s10 box and a steering shaft from a jeep Cherokee with u-joints on each end 3/4 30 spline at gear box 1 inch double D at firewall
