Technically it's just a log profile that's not graded. It can be raw or it can be some other form of compressed video.

Good to see you try these out! Was just watching bad guy good audio's video on these. Was hoping to hear your opinion on the mid tier, chi-fi iem day is moondrop audio's Starfield which is what I heard is a cheaper, prettier looking kxxs for around 110$.

I would like to know if pairing this IEMs with my A&K SP2000 is good and also, I would like to know if I'll get every detail from Cliff Burton bass line from the first three Metallica's albums (specially songs like Master of Puppets, Orion and the Call of Ktulo). I would like you to try those and let me know. I also listen to Jazz, classical music and may other genres under metal (technical death metal, progressive, etc). Thanks in advance.

W9's but not the same bass. Much less in bass quantity than the LX. However, bass quality is through the roof. :-)

I've been around to your channel for quite some time now especially since I've been busy looking for trusted reviews on the HD58X Jubilees. Do I need an amp to really make the headphone shine even more? Plus I'm always carrying my headphone with me wherever I go outdoors so yea I would prefer the portable ones. Btw you've just earned yourself a new sub. Love your reviews! Especially Let's Talk Sessions

For the 58X--yes, an amp (even a cheap one) definitely improves the sound. If you get one, make sure it has enough power to drive it--something like the Dragonfly Black is just a little too weak to do it in my experience. If you're looking for something portable though and you don't already own the 58X's, I'd recommend looking for something else (maybe a closed-back headphone or an IEM). The 58X's are VERY open back, meaning they block out 0% of the sound around you, and are fairly large.

@@NovaRay Ofc! Fiio's definitely a good choice--I have the Q1 Mk2 DAC/Amp, and it's all around very very good for the price, especially if you can buy it refurbished or used.

I'm not sure what it is you would be using to provide the audio for the hd58x but your phone/ tablet/ PC may have a decent enough DAC. If the DAC in your device is not good enough then you could look into an audioquest dragonfly black around £60 or a meridian explorer 2 for around £150 used. These are both great choices. Of course there are a lot more but these are too I know of that represent excellent value for money.

@@joshua029ll7 the Dragonflys are quite expensive where i live, can't find used ones. I'll look up for Fiio's instead or even Topping NX3S/NX4, both are relatively cheap here.

You know, when I saw the link you posted below, and it read "hold your wallet closely" I was like hmm maybe it would be around 500$ to 700$, but holy shit when I saw the price, I was speechless for a few seconds. I anticipated the price with the ones they had at mass drop but holy shit, its expensive AF!!! Your sentence should've been "Ready to sell your body parts/organs for this??!!!

Please review VE Monk plus !! I heard that they have the highest value for money at 5 bucks !! Many say about its sound performance but ignore comparison with other earbuds or iems !! I HEARD THAT ITS SOUNDSTAGE BEATS ALMOST ALL IEMS UNDER 200 DOLLARS !! please say if that's true or not🙏🙏🙏

Well Soundstage is a given for those types of earbuds, they don't isolate like monitors. I read they are extremely enjoyable in quiet spaces. Once ambient noise comes in though, best believe you'll hear everything around you. Otherwise, an awesome bud regardless

They can't have electrostatic drivers because electrostatic drivers need a bias voltage on the diaphragm. What these can have is electret drivers.

@@Merlin-wo4dj More drivers doesn't necessarily mean better sound. TRN is not in the same league of iBasso. TRN BA5 is a good iem no doubt and the new VX must be no slouch but one can't compare to IT00. It's a value for money iem. You'll be amazed by the presentation, unique signature and stand out design with high quality copper cable and comes with a case too.

@@johnnick6333 the under $200 iem category is such a joke. Every six seconds there is seemingly a new "champion". Every time it gets hyped as a "titen killer", only for that same reviewer to recommend the $1000+ model that it was supposed to be better than. Its like a Saturday morning cartoon, in which every week there is a new iem to fight over before being completely forgotten in a month. Iems of that price catorgory have such low technical ceilings that it's wiser just to pick one based on its sound signiture and call it a day.

@@enjoshi-godrez8775 Yaaa that's true. At the end of the day one should enjoy music with whatever they have. Once you start getting analytical and technical, you forget to enjoy music. Eventually you become a puppet of the iem brands. But still the iBasso IT00 is heck of a well made iem for the price. It lived up to the hype. I'm surprised it's not getting as much attention as the Tin T2 plus is getting.

@Jeffrey Liu I don't understand people who are not music producers, or any kind of sound engineers, who spend thousands of dollars on reference tuned iems. In my opinion, listening should be fun, not boring. No other iem comes close to the legend as far as this kind of enjoyment is concerned.

I get liking bass, but when the bass is so strong and prominent to the point where it's detrimental to the rest of the frequencies, it feels like too much of a compromise. I looked up a raw graph of them and, holy molly, they have a 20dB bass boost.

Those headphones are usually for teenagers who are used to cheap stuff (muddy bass boost). For on the go I use Sennheiser Momentum 3 Over ears. They have a bass boost of 5 db and tbh it is almost too much for anything other than electronic music. Get those if you like wireless, comfy and bass boost. btw there are enough reviews from mobile phone reviewers (just a guess)

@@greenneon9606 I was using the Blon as an example. My question is still, are the Odin's $3972 better? A VW Beetle will get you to the same place as a Rolls Royce. Talk about diminishing returns. I have a hard time wrapping my head around these exorbitant prices. I know there is R & D but are the actual parts inside that much different. I'm not trying to be difficult, I'm simply trying to understand it. And, I love having a good discussion with another lover of the sound of good music.
