Yes, he is very handsome and polite. I'm so sorry that he passed away. My handsome big 14 lb. cat is the same way when he begs to go outside.. He will look at me very seriously and silently mouth meow. I'll say, "What did you say?". He then very quietly says "meow" in just a whisper of a voice. My neighbor has observed him doing this too and she thinks he's very funny! 😄

We used to have a cat Fluffy. Grew up together. He was the gentlest boy with the tiniest meow. Sometimes just his mouth would move and no sound would come out. He was only able to get more of a meow later in life after a chiropractic adjustment. Pretty impressive. A good boy, meow or no meow

Right after I adopted my cat he could cry like a baby and he still does except the only time I can hear him now is with a webcam. I don't know what changed him but I think I like him better this way.

I have a scottish fold with a meow that sounds like the siren's song and a tiny tabby that sounds eerily like Janis Joplin, or a goat with a sore throat. I think we taught her to sound like that by fawning over her raspy little voice too often haha😹

Such a handsome cat and such a wonderful voice! I once befriended a feral stray at my workplace. He never meowed, he hissed instead. It was the cutest thing, him hissing his morning greeting as I replenished his food and water, his tail straight up as he let me pet him frim nose to hips. He was a black one, too, smart as a whip.

I'm not sure why this video is suddenly getting a lot of views but I wanted to thank you all for your lovely comments. Coal sadly died of a heart attack within a year of filming this, and I miss him every day, but it's nice to see his teeny tiny mew appreciated!
