Players like Raul, Pilar, Godfrey, Johnny, etc. are all immigrants though which explains their accents. They are still Canadian citizens though. Will and William don't fall into this group as their accents appear to be Canadian accents but they are from certain areas with distinct accents. It shocks me how many people in these comments expect every Canadian sounds the same... Even the Canadians themselves.

Atlantic Canada specifically tends to have stringent accents as we’re the “lesser developed” area of Canada some might say.

GlassesTarzan I said lesser, not under. Compare Toronto and Halifax, Halifax is the best we got and it doesn’t even have a single sky scraper. And that’s talking about cities, which takes up barely a fraction of land in Atlantic Canada, were mostly made up of VERY tiny communities. Also the mass amount of economic issues are vast, and our population is mostly older folk, fuck I have to move to London Ont. because there’s no post-graduate opportunities for me here.

Saying your from Toronto (the most developed city in Canada) and denouncing the problems we got in NL is insulting quite frankly, you live in the epi centre of Canada, the city everyone knows.
