When the show makes millions a year and could have afforded to give them each 100k and donate triple that amount to the virus. But Instead there giving them nothing In prize money and donating about 1/100 of what the show makes a year to the virus fight

So they go back home and then what? Quarantine themselves? Stores are already low on products, how are they gonna pay for it? What job are they going to do? How can they get money. They donated it to a Covid charity but these people literally need money to survive. They were safer inside this space and they don’t have to travel and potentially get infected. They should have given part of the money to the contestants

I kinda feel like these contestants were exploited in a way. Clearly the show makes a lot of money off of commercials and sponsors. I get that they are still getting paid ten thousand dollars, but these people put their life on hold for the grand prize. It could’ve been split up - and the better or could’ve still donated to charity.

Could have split the 100k between the houseguests and then reallocated the remainder of the production budget (way more than 100k) to charity 🤷‍♀️

Don't know if its the same for big brother Canada, but the US version, they get 10k for being on the show, even the ones only there for a week or two. So they are getting paid for their time.

Dudes do not worry they are being paid out trust me. They can’t just cut them off like that, especially for somewhere like Canada. As a New Zealand citizen, our financial help system has been doin an amazing job of making sure that employees and potential employers don’t lose their jobs or their businesses, and if so there is lots of help from our inland revenue departments (for once) under our current prime minister. All I’m saying is from what I hear about Canada, is I’m sure they have systems in place and that the cast of this season have not gone empty handed. They will be looked after.
