Another upside of the change to the Burn rune is that Fulmination now doesn't feel like a trade off by delaying lave burst since you couldn't have flame shock up when you used earth shock on 9 sield stacks.

Cant wait to try out this seal twisting in raid today, last few ones spent spamming exorcism were meh, too easy to play, this one will be all about timing and execution, not just brainlessly button mashing

Saber slash isn't a huge nerf, just takes longer to build, they just switched the stacks vs % which might be a buff.

Because of 10% more damage? Are you smoking crack? So a 270 void plague tick now ticks for 297. Zzzzzz. Meanwhile a Hunter chimera shot crit me yesterday-a single arrow- for 1272 damage. That’s ridiculous. Shadow priest damage needed a buff. All other dps classes are way more damaging. At least with s priests in pvp you have a few seconds to deal with the dots, unlike vs rogues, melee hunters, ranged hunters, mages.

@@tullfarley4962well said. I think the first week of p2, pre SW:D nerf, really gave people some PTSD because that’s simply not happening in p3. I hope they make sw:d baseline, & move the Twisted Faith rune from chest to gloves since it would be a free slot.

Hmmmm, am I the only one who is every patch update wondering why warriors NEVER EVER receive any buff? Just because they are good at PvE they never receive any update concerning PvP, and it is in PvP where they need lots of buffs (specially regarding mobility + new skill/runes). Not only that, they keep buffing casters with +% flat damage increase, damage increase to DoTs and even the possibility for DoTs to crit, while we have Rend (YES!), which is doing +/- 40 dmg per tick (huge, isn't it?). Please make a call on this @hammerdance !! And thank you for the updates, we appreciate your vids :)

I'm surprised there's absolute nothing for warriors. Specifically Protection Warriors! As a Protection Warrior it's basically impossible keep AOE threat on trash mobs in raid, compared to for example a Shaman tank with still overtuned Lightning Shield. Besides that Block Value is still bugged, when it comes to adding damage to Shield Slam... #FixProtWar

What has? Are u talking about Lightning Shield? If so, I know.. But it's still way overtuned compared to a Warriors AOE tanking capabilities, which goes to show how bad warrior aoe threat and aoe damage is.

@@dathle I'm running 3 ST raids weekly, all have Shamans as main tank and speedclear sub 1 hour. Shaman is tanking both bosses and trash mobs, sometimes at the same time. How are shamans bad at single target threat??? As a prot warrior I even sometimes struggle with single target threat as well, due to shield slam block value being bugged.

@@joelt5994 Yes i realise that . I realised that in phase 1 when I got full bis raid gear. Resilience isn't the solution, simple as. Maybe if u limit it to 1 or 2 slots , sure. But you need to have PvE and PvP gear intermixing. You can't have them as 2 separate and unique entities. Thats what killed PvP in vanilla-tbc and again in classic-tbc ... I thought they had a solution planned ...

@@Sledgehammer003 the 1 or 2 slots I could get in board with.. how about this.. One trinket that gives 15% damage reduction from players, and then a 2 minute cd PvP trinket insignia to break cc. 5 min is not enough use currently.

Me, a major hater of seal twisting and pala main: F*ck... Can only hope that the quick 2h meta is still superior, but ret pala is still tiers below other melee classes at the highest level, so idk...

@@PRC533 ya man, I said it was an over reaction but he’s convinced that will be the expectation to raid at Ret and he’s not doing it. In general the fact remains that no spec should require an addon even if it’s simple like a swing timer. SOD keeps saying it’s not for sweaty raiders but seal twisting is super sweaty. Who knows how it will play out.

@@vVvDepredation it seems your mate was playing a wrong game then. You can still have loads of fun in PVE and PvP with Paladin. I main Retri, Rank 7, clearing ST 8/8 with guild. Main thing is to have fun, if youre not having it, then stop.

@@RandySnarsh horseshit, raid damage doesn't translate to pvp damage. For a warr to do insane damage it takes world buffs, party buffs, expensive consumables, and rotational knowledge to start hitting those numbers. Otherwise every other class shits on warrior in world pvp, especially if they're solo.

How the hell are ranged hunters still not getting any love. They havent received a significant buff since phase 1. Were bottom of the barrel DPS in phase 2, despite the last boss epic weapon being a gun. And they are currently only doing 3/4 the DPS of a melee hunter and it feels terrible to play.. When u bring a buff that adds 150 AP to the entire group, and that net DPS gain is WAY less than just having the ranged hunter play melee...theres an issue...

Ranged hunters will always have a guaranteed raid spot with true shot aura for group

@@joelt5994 Not if someone with a brain is raid leading. TSA adds 150-200 dps total for the group. Melee hunters are doing 500 more DPS than ranged. Whats better raid DPS, 500 or 150?

As an alliance player, I am forced to ask, is Blizzard even looking at the state of pvp? The game outcome is decided entirely on the amount of elemental shamans. Got more than 2? You win. Undying offhealers that can truly two-three shot people, not just as a meme statement.

The only change that's seems legit is the rogue one, i'm bored of being forced to play mutilate so i hope this brings back sword up ahead a little, even if mutilate is still slightly stronger

Simonize video out, saber slash is actually better on certain fights. Kinda makes it so you could go dual spec for top parsing on every encounter, quite an interesting change if you ask me :D

Leaning into seal twisting is a terrible mistake imo. *The only reason it was fun back then was because it was a "cheat code" to some extra damage, and the fact that we had nothing else to press.* The actual gameplay however never felt good, it would have been much better to just have another proper ability. *I don't get it, Blizzard literally listed up most of the reason it's a terrible idea, and the decide to go for it... what?* I guarantee you that max 10% of paladin players is going to seal twist, but they are the ones who will show up in the 95%+ parses and thus become the benchmark for future balancing by Blizzard. *The result is that 90% of Paladins will legitimately be underpowered because the 10% sweatiest paladins are doing something that literally requires an addon to master.*

Priests are the - Best healers, and Spriest is arguably the best caster in PvP rn. You can't have all of that and have the top raid damage too. Also, Priest leveling is a joke compared to something like warriors. You guys will be just fine lol.

The shaman changes are actually infuriating. First they take away our DW tanking (fine) without compensating the shitty shield-tanking playstyle at all. We go elemental because it's the only way to do decent damage and therefor threat - mostly because Stormstriking with a single weapon feels like ass. Now they prevent us from being anything other than Stromstrike tanks without providing any improvements. So now we're consistently the lowest damaging tank with a terrible playstyle, STILL hard-casting lava bursts because they refuse to do anything with Molten Blast and how garbage it is; but now we gotta do it to the effect of even lower numbers. Thanks blizz

Love how they are trying to validate introducing Seal Twisting (Horrible idea) back into the game, as if it was "Popular" during the original TBC. When in fact 0.01% of Rets even knew it existed, and in reality only Belfs could do it. And when they made it so ALL Rets could do it in Classic TBC, I still think it was a horrible design since you would spend all your time looking at the swing timer.

I get that people are upset. I also get that if you want perfect balance, you also get watered down classes. Go look at retail - there is no mechanic that just one class has. Try to enjoy the class fantasy and the world. Don’t get so twisted into “omg Ferals aren’t getting any love” because you play a feral.

its funny, people are losing their minds over the shadow priest "Buff" but to be honest, shadow priests need WAY more then that to be competitive in PvE. PvP is an invalid game mode, so were ignoring all comments on PvP.

U are mental invalid.WoW is pve and pvp game.That u dont like pvp and u may be pick pve server no one care.Makeing somo class broken over athers is clear stupidity.Also the way they doing it giving flat dmg.Even prists get 50% flat dmg they will still sucks in pve.Instead of that shit devs can izi make pve mechanik that boost the dmg way more and not make sp op in pvp(somethink like wake of fire on warlocks, gives tons of incr dmg but is useless in pvp).
