You are a man after my own heart, sir! STILL love this band after so many years. I remember exactly where I was when I first heard FoF - in a shitty shared house rental in Milnsbridge, W Yorks when I was a student at the Poly in Huddersfield. My girlfriend (and now my wife) was with me. It was about 6pm and it was played on Radio 1 by whoever the discerning DJ was at that time. Brilliant stuff! Totally original approach to the electric guitar. More interesting than The Edge (although he was a breath of fresh air too, TBF). Anyway... Excellent lesson. I'll give it a go. I don't have much in th way of effects for my guitar but I can get close(ish) I think to the sound. I am MOST grateful to you for his. Ive just subscribed. Cheers! PT x
