I think I have listened to Big Country nearly everyday since 1983. The sounds of my life. Stuart was one of a kind and is missed.

Stuart is not only a great singer, but a superb lyricist throughout the Big Country catalogue. Their final album (Driving to Damascus/John Wayne's Dream) was on their best, which you will be hard pressed to say about any other band 15 years later.

I had the honor of seeing them play back in the early 90's in California. I was in a slump before the show by the end I felt that I could walk on water. The energy that they gave off was amazing. Hats off

Kate Bush sang backing vocals on the album title track "The Seer" June Miles-Kingston sang them on the track Eiledon, don't know if the the woman in the vid, but she is hot anyway :o)
