KDH for Home grown quota? I guess if Chalobah and Gallagher go, that only leaves Sanchez, Bettinelli, James, Tosin, Colwill, Chilwell, Lavia, Palmer, Madueke, Sterling before we get to the likes of Acheampong, George, Samuels-Smith, Humphreys, Gilchrist, Vale etc. @ £30m (or 25, if Golding is included in the equation ((£6M per annum amortised)), it’s a punt at worst, to ease Maresca in, hit the ground running, like Jorginho. With the injuries, decent squad depth, at best, I think he’ll pleasantly surprise a few. Toney, Mbeumo, Henry are Brentford players. David Raya used to be.

11th to 6th is clear progress, dummy. Your club won't survive after such a massive takeover and turnovers in the playing body. Restructuring on the fly while competing and coming in 6th last season should tell you a lot. If you are criticizing chelsea without such context, then it is obviously hating and clutching at straws. If you can say Dewsbury Hall is a Brentford level player then what can you say about the manager Enzo Maresca? Similar criticisms where levied against Cole Palmer at the end of it, the critics became the praise singers. Even Messi and Ronaldo started as low level players. Barca and Man United gave them the opportunity to showcase their talents. Why is it that most Chelsea fans love big named players? Was Drogba not a low profile player before coming to the Bridge?

yes Mainoo is, man of the match in the FA Cup final in his debut season against Man City He has also been Uniteds best deeper midfielder, in a premier league team. Not championship We also saw him play for England, he helps them actually play football. Now if only the defensive players would actually play the ball quickly into feet so England can play. We saw what happens when Gordon dropped into the positions you expect Stones/Rice them to pickup and play quickly to Mainoo

Garnacho is decent tbf and i'm a Chelsea fan but KDH is a perfect signing, he is a jack of all trades. But i wish we can sell Sterling and a few other players and get Kvara because our attack is too one sided. Even a Leao would be great because I don't know how long Mudryk will take to grow courage

Terry misses a huge point. The demand for players from winning teams is much higher, so the likes of City don't struggle to sell fringe players at a good price while everyone else struggles. There are a lot of factors that go into talent evaluation and establishing the value of players, but the variable which only a few clubs can take advantage of is limited to winning teams. Chelsea are still reaping the benefits of the Abramovich era and the winning machine he created, but that shine will come off if Chelsea continue to perform poorly season after season because teams don't want to pay premiums for players that aren't part of successful teams.
