Big Dogs Second Group Time Trials

Ай бұрынRough times getting the 2nd Group ready as everyone was on the Mountain leaving post it notes! A very long session and Brutal as one complete time down each lane counts for the Line up in the Racing Groups.
Top 16 ( Big Dogs ) go the Course of three Track circuit, The 17 to 32 Group forgot they were Chained to the Porch!

Wow! Two more sub-7 second runs. Uncle Elvis and Lilly brought tanks! Those two are going to be tough. Nice job everyone!

Holy Moly... Uncle Elvis' beast is scary! Kudos to everyone who built for this tourney. Super-cool builds, can't wait to see packs of 4 running down the track! And Jim, hope your kitties are ok.

I hope your cats will be alright. Brownie was attacked by a pit bull a few days ago while on a walk to the park. Her belly was cut so we took her to the vet for an overnight and surgery to be sure there were no internal injuries and then stitched back together. $2800 so far 😢 but she’s still with us and sleeping by my side while I watch the 2nd group qualify. Some amazing times and heavy cars. Dr Dodge isn’t the heaviest this time, to my surprise. Congratulations to Uncle Elvis and the rest of the top 16. I’m impressed that Brownie was in the top 5 of the non-qualifiers; which is better than I expected. There are some really good builders racing in the bottom 16. Lily the Dog in the top 3 is so fitting, as it should be. It shows just how different the Bone Shakers can be. It’s a pleasure to race with you all.

Oh my! Hoping Brownie is doing good. That beats my output of $ for all three. She is chunked up but still feisty. Every Entry is a Masterpiece!

Dang I guess spin outs happen! Even on my race game lunchbox when I was a kid!! I’m glad one of us involved made the top 16, congrats Dutch Clutch, the one who came up with the idea for this tournament!! Great job Bent Rod your video production is getting better every time!!

Fast cars, fast time, badass awesome video. I dropped my Bone Shaker and bent my front axle the day I was shipping it. And I didn't have to build a new one. I bent it back of course, and we all know how that goes. But I still had fun watching it run, spin, and slide down your track. 🤩😎🍺

@@numbskulldiecastracing I did the same thing with Brownie’s Paw Shaker. I tried to bend the axle back straight but it refused to cooperate, so a quick axle swap from another Bone Shaker got it riding straight again but not quite as fast as the original. Even if we don’t win, it’s still fun to watch them run. You’re usually among the best times, so we know just how good your cars can be. Good luck in the races.

Bentley, you had the music low enough that I only knew the "usual" pieces, so whatever concerns you may have had, none of that hurt the show for me Full watch, albeit at 1.25x--I hung in there right to the last, anticipating a movie quote "How Heavy Is Too Heavy?" Well, it certainly isn't Uncle Elvis' build, WOW!! Speed and control, that's the key, quite the feat at 140+ grams! Fun show, I'm totally digging the names for both race series. Using just one casting for the whole event really tests builders' skills and raises the stakes from the get-go! Sending good vibes to your cats, coyotes are horrible pests

Thank you so Much Chris! Was a Very long video and was using every musical clip I could find. The Builds are Ingenuity at its Best, A hard casting that I suggested without thinking through. But the Guys are Inventive beyond Normal thought Process when Challenged with a Build!

F@@k!! I knew the CG was way too high. This confirms it. Was fun to build but it didn’t turn out as good as I hoped and it’s obviously no good for racing. Frustrating… Many lessons learned.

@@Chris_Hood Yeah, more than likely going to try to remove the axles from this build to use on another car at some point. They’re some of my best-spinning wheels. The weight distribution was just totally wrong 😟
