Should have hollered out to that dock worker.. "you got a trailer?" Never seen so many in one place! First time to see them leaned up against each other. Wow!

I do these year round (normally 53' domestics) and your technique was fine! I do prefer however to not chain around the DOT bar as its not as strong, however its probably ok to do so. Also I do 3 straps on the center section of the chassis and skip doing the chains, similar WLL (5400 vs 5700) and its a little less cumbersome. These things love to shake loose going down the road though so I usually do about 2-3 load checks during my drivetime (200mi).

Wow. Now i remember why I went to fluids. I done stepdeck for a year and a half and just seeing this video reminds me why I cant do that work. Just watching this makes my back tingle and shiver thanks to my fear of heights. also that is quite the loading area.

yes, the LA BNSF yard is pretty sizeable. not my favorite thing to load.

I started to watch because I thought this might have some decent training on how to properly chain stacked chassis but unfortunately it was all in fast motion and I didn't get anything out of it. Maybe you should label your video such that says no training here, just a waste 12 minutes instead.

If you look, you can see the 7 chains, and how I put them on.

How did they load the chassis onto your trailer? Would have liked to have seen that.

Would have been nice if it was slowed down.

It takes me a little while to put my chains on. I use 7 chains and 7 binders, so it's a lot of climbing up and down the stack.
