Eureka Yeee Haaa That’s what I am talking about Krissy….!!!!! Absolutely awesome.. You even must of hit your thumb with the hammer 🔨 while you were chiseling and you didn’t even feel it.!!! I am so happy for you.. You have earned every bit and more of that AU .. The Gold Gods definitely looked after you for all of your. @Shaun Morris Have to be careful where you are, jackhammers are classified as power tooks and not hand tools and can be illegal if used in the wrong area.

When I was younger I would go to the family farm and help my Uncle over summer holidays. The farm was in a very dry terrain and the ground was as hard as the ground you are digging in. When it was time to go fix fence and dig new holes to put posts, it was always my job to dig the hole... the trick is water... moisten the ground first and let it seep deep, then start removing the mud which is much easier than fighting the solid ground! Hope this helps you in the future holes.

Love watching your episodes Krissy and cant wait to see what you uncover. Im a fulltime detectorist also and love your attitude, and to keep on going even when the rewards are minimal or non existent in some areas. No matter the size of gold found, i love your enthusiasm and excitement. Unlike some shows, they find a 2 ounce nugget and refer to at as a tidler(smart arses) and want bigger. You appreciate every single peice, regardless of size and that's what i really enjoy watching. Go the gold ⛏️⛏️

Old trick is to hold the chisel with hand upside down so you only hit the soft side of hand. Nice gold Krissy

@@OutbackGoldFever they also make cold chisels with a built on guard . It protects my employees from bashing back of hand with 3 lbs hammers ( a hit mean no more using hand ). Eastwing makes them. Here in the states we get them at any large box hardware store . Also Eastwing makes a geo pick that's a far cry better than the design you are using ( eastwing geo/paleo gp100)

Love your channel and the effort you put into making your videos - beating back the flies! Nice when you give us some geology. I was born in Western Aussie and have had a love of rocks ever since. My mum and dad drove me across the Nullabor twice in the days before cars had air conditioning... You don't need a massive jackhammer to bust into hard ground. Some of the smaller Bosch models will do the job fine and not stress out your small generator.

Well done Krissy there is a way to stop the hammer from hitting your hand and it is to rough the top of the chisel and hammer up on like rough concrete or rock until its all really scratched up and course
