Big Hit Entertainment Japan이, 일본을 기반으로 글로벌 무대에서 활약할 아티스트를 만들어 내는 「Big Hit Japan 글로벌 데뷔 프로젝트」를 시작합니다.
제1탄으로, 올해 한국에서 실시되어 큰 화제 속에 성공적으로 완료된 초대형 프로젝트 "I-LAND" 를 경험하고, 매일 성장을 계속하고 있는 5 명 (케이, 니콜라스, 의주, 경민, 타키) 이외에, 새롭게 실시되는 오디션 "& AUDITION" 에서 추가 멤버를 선발하여 2021년에 데뷔하는 것으로 결정되었습니다.

They were the true talents of I-Land along with Hanbin. No hate but the composition of Enhypen is kinda messed up. There is no real dance lead as K was the best dancer of the show and had leadership. Sunoo needed to stay with Hanbin bc they were like brothers. Nicholas was an amazing acrobatic B-moves which cruelly lacks in enhypen. And EJ and Taki are amazing vocalist as well as dancers. Audition boys is more well rounded. That's why Hybe called them bc they realized their mistake..

I think Bang PD knew what he was doing when he didn't choose K for the first group. Everyone was shocked because he was clearly a major standout. He was saving him for this group. Also K and Ta-ki are together. That is the best part.

Those who are not aware, OT4 appeared in a teaser during Weverse Con (concert). Video all over twitter. There were 3 empty chairs (new 3 members?). I love how bighit doesn't just release their trainees who have talent but weren't able to make it into the debut group. Obviously, bighit gives their trainees an opportunity to become a better artists, I LOVE THAT

Apparently there will be more members of the group based on The description on Big Hit Japan's page it reads as followed "Five members of a team, (K, NICHOLAS, EJ, KYUNGMIN, and TAKI), have experienced “I-LAND,” the mega viral project held this year in Korea, and they keep improving every day. The first step of the project will be to hold auditions (called “&AUDITION”) for additional members who will join them. The group will debut in 2021."

Big hit is doing great job with these kids. Instead of wasting their talent they are giving them opportunity to shine. I like agency like that. No doubt BTS are global stars. I'm an Army but I support every big hit artists. I will support this group too. Good luck guys.

Most companies wait more than a year or two before debuting another group, and typically four or five years between debuting another boy/girl group if they've just established one. They're stretched a little thin, and it feels a little strange, but I'm going to trust Bang PD knows what he's doing (I mean, obviously. He's chairman for his company and I can barely do my own management job). I'm wondering if he's not just taking advantage of the current situation though? Running these groups takes a lot of money, and witch public appearances being limited, and concerts and showcases being nonexistent, plus BTS's steadily growing success and popularity, BigHit has more finances at its disposal to establish two groups, I wound guess. Plus, I imagine he's been planning for quite a while. Opening a foreign branch is no casual thing. Really considering it, I think Bang PD was just waiting for a few good opportunities to line up. There probably won't be anymore major moves for a few years until everything settles, I imagine. Granted, these are thoughts from someone who is not particularly business savvy and probably got carried away responding to a simple question xD
