I read an article about you on Yahoo News and came by to let you know that im glad someone shares the same sentiments as I do. As a 30s man also working in the design field, I too relate to the feeling that the entire world is about to change. The lay of the land is evolving so fast and me and my co-workers are struggling really hard to keep up with the volatile currents. And we are not junior/entry positions either. On the bright side, at least we can see the proverbial "end" coming with the rise of AI generated digital media and the shrinking of jobs in multiple sectors. It time to move on. And sooner or later we are all gonna have to find other ways to sustain ourselves.

not me thinking that those cherry tomatoes were kimchi LOL I swear the packaging is so similar! Anyway, congrats on this new chapter! It's ok to have anxiety but remember that you're not the same person you were last time and that just because it's the same city it doesn't mean the experiences are going to be the same because you're a new person and you're always evolving :) embrace this change and enjoy this chapter !

Yep; unemployment is *great*. I think a lot of people think that you have to work all the time, every day, to survive in this capitalist society, but with severance pay and unemployment payments, you can get by just fine in most cases. It really shocked me that my lifestyle didn't really change all that dramatically once I got laid off, so now that I have all this time, I can put it towards things that actually further my life goals. I think a lot of people box themselves in, selling themselves the lie that they could "just" get more done without their day jobs, but really, that's just an excuse to delay doing things. I think in your case, Wesley, if you want to buy a house, carefully plan towards that as you do in your Notion planning videos. You seem like a very organized person, and I appreciate the transparency of this vlog.

Working again and already missing my unemployment! Haha
