Big Mick is a legend, whenever this guy talks, I listen. I've been struggling in sound for better than 25 years, I have a few great memorable tours under my belt, but I can only wish my career was even close to his.

It takes a good length of time to set up everything as nathanfornash has pointed out. The set up the compressors and processing is already set up in a rack before the tour starts. So as long as it takes to roll the racks to the board. Usually a few snakes put it all together.

Big Mick, (Not Mike) is a very decent guy. This is a great interview regarding the gear. Great job by the interviewer.

I don't know if they do this all the time, but for the summer sanit. 03 I know they had two identical sets of gear that would rotate at each date. Like one setup was at one venue and then there would be a crew at the next venue setting up that one lol
