What I love (loved) about MMR was that it was varied like a magazine that you browse through with different topics. Single subject channels can get very tiring and boring whereas your channel is about life and everything in and around the home. Already subbed to the new channel. 👍

I’ve been giving this more thought and this is what I’ve come up with. Take it for what’s it’s worth. I’m no KZfaq expert. I think there are many many people watching building/construction/homesteading etc video for design ideas, tips, instructions, methods, materials etc I don’t think there are many people watching videos to learn how to chase piglets or clean chicken coops. Those views are most likely very secondary to a more popular primary draw topic that the channel is based on. I watch your channel because you are wonderful people and I enjoy you all immensely. What brought me here originally was the homestead development

Marc; I'm just one subscriber, so take this in context of why I started watching your channel. My interest, like that in Red Poppy Ranch, My Self Reliance, et al is in people who display wide varieties of talent in building things. I started watching those 2 channels and yours from the outset. As with all three, it was VERY interesting watching you build a complex from scratch, but the shift toward gardening-planting-and animal processing waned my interest. That's not to say that I don't tune in as a subscriber, but my interest is to find others starting out the same as you. I applaud your effort to expand your audience, and you will with the additional channel. I commented only to explain why some of us move on. God Bless

I love your videos. Building the Orchard was nice, etc. Fixing the Farm equipment is necessary but does not jingle my bells. I like building and land construction. You are very good at getting things done. I always mark that little like button. There are silly and dangerous people in our World. Jesus will fix that when He comes again. I am still loving your content. I understand the need to make another channel geared towards something different. The only difference to me is which channel to watch first! I'll be going to the sausage making video next. Quick click and I'm there. I'm glad you marked the sausage making video clearly. Some people love watching vegetables being processed, but abhor any meat processing, so a clear label is appreciated by some. Keep up the good work, but take care of you too!

I can’t help to think this may be a KZfaq set up. What I mean by that is KZfaq has all the ammunition if you will, with the “algorithms” and pushing your videos out for everyone to see. They can very easily “Hold back”, even if it’s just a little….enough to shake up the algorithms and they then come through with the idea that you can make a bigger audience with a second channel. “They” on the other hand now get “their algorithms” with more channels for their business. Marc, I like ALL of your content and I watch all of them, every week!! There is only so much time in the day and I do not sit around all day and evening just to watch multiple channels!!

Too many short sight people can not think like you. Said it mean it people should be getting your subs up but if you watch other shows your watching smoke and mirrors not the true content needed. Love your show and learn alot . Raised on a farm and love what you all do. WILL watch what ever you guys and gal put out.

Obviously I'm not going to be interested in the food stuff... it can sort of be like torture because I still crave stuff like that... I love the projects, and I don't mind when you move from one to another... but yeah, I'm going to skip a few. Sorry about that.

I’ve been following for the past couple of years and I notice that the channel has stagnated growth in the past couple years. I know that a lot of it is luck with what hits. I’m not a big follower of multiple channels from the same creator. I think you’re better off putting out one really good quality channel instead of two mediocre ones. When you were building the shop, the videos were long, but broken up into several sections that made the viewer want to come back week after week. You probably had a lot of growth then. Some of the videos in the past 6 months have just been footage with voiceover and some of the footage wasn’t overly interesting and is resulting in poor viewership and the subscribers are correlating to that. I think you could do construction, homesteading, and general life events but make a really good quality video that’s 30 minutes long and put it out every week or two. Quality and interesting videos will drive your growth. I also think it’s important to give updates with your projects. Some of the projects start but we don’t see them finish or they aren’t even talked about. I understand that your daily routine is highly dependent on different priorities of the ranch, but I’d love to see an update on the shop kitchen. If a project is being put in the back burner, mention it and keep us updated. A quick mention to the viewer of what is coming up in the next few weeks would be great. I know red poppy went through a similar arc and figured out a good formula. While I understand you’re going to do you own thing, maybe borrow a little bit from their recipe and dial it in where you see fit. Keep up the good work and the viewers will come.

I like your channel. But I think the problem is that your content moves too slowly. Unfortunately, you are not blessed with a gift of gab. So you need to talk less, and condense your explanations. Emphasize your skills. All the details are boring. Study other successful channels. Best of luck
