Big News - Interview with John Myatt

Күн бұрын15th June 2016. John Myatt is a very remarkable man. In short his wife walked out on him, leaving him with two small children.
He took a job as an art teacher and then after offering his services to paint forgeries found himself in jail. Happily now he is a very successful and legit painter, happily re married and plays the organ in his local church.

I love Myatt's genuine frankness, his commitment to pursuing his craft, and his willingness to suffer the blunderings on interviewer and student; all with an eloquence seldom found today. How I would love to have had an art lesson from him!

I have had the pleasure of meeting him,and chatting with him.he is truly an amazing person and so talented.i have several of his works,

Quite an interesting man...I've watched several of his videos. I give him a lot of credit for how he's getting on with his life and for his talent and humility.

Really enjoyed his face in the frame, masterclass etc. very much wish there were more!!!

Wes, Who knew that from all people in our year at art school it would be you who gains some sort of fame/notoriety out of painting. Still got that infectious enthusiasm I see. Great stuff. Peter Mills
