I love how the alto saxes get a large part in this piece, as you don't normally see that in a lot of big band arrangements. Love the song; this is one of my favorites!!

Yeah, what saxefoner said. We've played this piece near on a hundred times. Opened for Big Bad Voodoo Daddy with it, which by the way was really awesome, but it never sounded as good as the recording.

We play this exact same tune, but don't get the same clarity and separation in the bandroom. It's all about recorded sound.
