Is the Astra pump "quiet" enough to put it inside a car? Might need something like that for a track car iam doing. But have you ever thought about depowring the rack and run a electric steering column like people do with the corsa power steering ones?

I believe those Astra PAS pumps use a mineral oil which isn't necessarily compatable with most PAS racks. Not sure how happy they will be long term running on normal PAS fluid.

That's some bad luck for Craig, but I can't help but think the internet has oversold the K series. They're great engines when they're NA, and with forged internals etc they're great with boost, but the way people claim they can make 400hp etc on stock internals... Idk. Some might hold together, but lots are gonna get blown up. Shame, it would have been a really cool car, but now it's just getting an LS. 964 and Lambo as mental as always lol Any chance of an update on the E30 or E46 soon?

That k24 sucks for sure. An na ls might be lighter than the turbo k24. V belts dimensions are a law unto themselves. Pice one good brand and stick with it. Gates 👌🏻👌🏻
