Curious, what disappointed you about it?

I came with actual no expectation of ANYTHING and came off going"oh hey something new will be there one day" which is not a whole lot of positives mind you but also nothing particularly awful. They on another hand came in expecting literally ANYTHING of substance that isnt updates to games they never cared for or vague announces without pictures, names or dates. So they came out of it understandably dissapointed.

​@@qeridexis8604 Oh! I misread your comment, for that I sincerely apologize. Personally, I usually don't buy games until a year or more after launch due to them, in my experience, not being polished or not having too much content at launch, so launch dates probably wouldn't mean that much to me. What will/does mean something to me, however, is the devs being transparent about the progress they've made and the product having finally finished development and probably being in a complete state, which usually is like the game finally launching properly to me. Also, I find Shovel Knight lore fairly interesting from what I've seen of it and I enjoy the narrative and world of the four primary campaigns immensely, so hearing that they'd seemingly follow up on the lore directly for a sequel is music to my ears. Lastly, the Shovel Of Hope Remaster is fairly interesting conceptually to me, and I find it quite cool. For those reasons, I was kind of curious as to why you were disappointed, but now I see that you were referring to the BTD crew.
