Big toe (2/2) taping after assessment for turf toe/sprains

5 жыл бұрынThis video goes over some practical advice on how to tape the big toe for sport and the importance of assessing the tape job after it is applied. We look at how to bias the tape job towards the athlete's position of comfort. We discuss variations of how this may be applied depending on the positions that aggravate each unique individual. We are using tuf-skin and zinc-oxide athletic tape.

Thanks for posting this!! My big toe is currently fractured (“sand toe” injury - lower corner fracture of the first proximal phalanx on the tibial side). This video helped me a lot! Thank you!

Should I use crutches while taping the toe like this?

My toe gets blue everytime I do it, and need to take it off and do it again but less tight. But then it doesn't last as long. Any tips?
