Your not alone buddy! Lost my front wing driving over pavement sidewall placed illogically in the middle of road when about to turn my GTI Clubsport. Bam & over the hump, my dashcam recorded it all.. Just thankful for insurance! 😄

I kind of miss snow driving but then I remember what a pita scraping off snow, chipping away at the icy windshield, waiting for the car to warm up, and hitting black ice is and I'm glad I don't have to deal with that anymore.

Im in NY running snow tires stock size, the thing just crawls through snow like it’s nothing, kinda insane what a FWD car can do. I also have a skid plate to deal with the crappy roads lol

Dedicated Snow tires make a night and day difference compared to all season on my GTI.

I bet! I know there is a large gti community up north and they are making it happen. I imagine it’s a must have up there. Luckily this is a rarity for us.

Yup. All seasons w/OEM specs (225/40/18) from 11/01-4/30 are mandatory. Fun returns on 5/01 here in Chicago.

Where did you get the catless downpipe for your fusion

I am pretty sure I got it from ebay sorry its been a couple years. That being said it took me forever to find one and even then I still had to have to slightly modified to fit right. For that car it is most common to just gut the cat since its so hard to find downpipes for them.(I don't recommend this but it is an option and the route taken more often for that car)
