2 жыл бұрынBig Tractor Power takes viewers to a 1,000 acre wheat field where 9 Class 9 Combines with 45ft MacDon Draper Heads, 4 John Deere 420 hp 4wds and 1,000 bu Kinze grain carts, 15 semi trucks and three 600 plus hp tractors with 60ft air seeders are working on harvesting wheat and seeding a second crop of soybeans. This video takes viewers from the start of the harvest day to the finish with this large farming operation.

Great video as ever, the figures you quoted at the start are absolutely mind blowing to someone here in the UK, that field that was being harvested is larger than the majority of the complete farms here. A truly well oiled team of harvesters well coordinated and a great watch.

That’s quite the fleet of equipment. It’s impressive to watch an outfit like that work. The one thing that always grinds my gears with a operation this size is how they bore thru the mud just like at the beginning of the video. To each their own, but my dad would rip you a new one one for boring up his farm and it’s a value I still stick with to this day.

1980 Massey Ferguson 540 combine with 13’ head and 1144 corn head, 1964 Chevy C60 2 ton grain truck, 1956 Ford F500 Grain Truck, 1968 John Deere 4020 for heavy tillage, 1974 John Deere 2630 with John Deere 8200 Grain Drill for planting, 1977 John Deere 2440 for boom sprayer. 200 acres of bean/wheat/corn rotation. Same family farm since 1817 in Central NC.

I use a John Deere s670, John Deere 608c for corn, and a John Deere 635f for soybeans. To haul it we use 4 gravity wagons

I like the lexion combine very fast on tracks that's a lot of harvesting probably a week of work
