Great storytelling! New sub and friend to the Sabe/Sasquatch People,I have been living w them for almost 3 years as well as getting to know many families here in the Appalachian mountains of NC and the forests and swamps of south MS...My 1st encounter was a 45 minute stand off w a family that had been watching me and trying to make contact w me for 2-3 years, but I was dumb to what was happening. During the stand off,in which many trees and branches lost their lives,I FELT this male say to me,"I *could* kill you,but I don't want to hurt you." That was the moment that changed everything for me. I immediately began singing 3 different songs (Sam Cooke's "A Change is Gonna Come",The Cherokee Morning song, and another old blues/gospel song I forget the name of but still sing to them "Satisfied Mind" maybe?) As soon as and until I stopped singing, all went quiet.Once I stopped singing, the "thrashing" began again. At that moment,I hollered up at the ridge above me,"Hey! I am not your enemy! I don't have any weapons and mean NO harm! If anything,I am your FRIEND!" Then all went quiet again for about 2 minutes, after which time I clearly heard a very loud,"KNOCK! KNOCK!" and knew at that moment that it was safe for me to stay. I remained there, a local UFO hotspot, and 2 weeks later began recording audio conversations w this family of Sabe/Sasquatch People That was on 8/2/2020,and to this day,I am friends with and visit often that family. They are always welcoming and kind.At worst, they are quiet sometimes, but still friendly and will knock some. ...Apparently that family's father was a Tribal leader and now they "marked" me so that I can talk to the Sabe People likely anywhere and get a good response.... Well over 100 families found and counting,I am also a Horticulture grad and a dropout Primatology and Conservation student who tracks them through the knowledge and experience I have gained....Ever tried the "No lights;no cameras" approach? The rewards are amazing.Audio on my channel, including one of me talking down (making peace) a Sabe man from a bluff charge, and making friends w him immediately after - "It Wasn't a Bear!"...Thank you for sharing MM's story.

I live in Central Illinois and my parents own property in Southern Illinois down by Alton , I've heard some strange sounds and grunting out in the woods squirrel hunting with my buddies I listen to 2 other you tubers, Steve Isdall " Facts on how to hunt " & " Scott Carpenter " RIP ❤🙏❤ very knowledgeable.

There has been a long time Bigfoot researcher in Central Illinois, member of the BFRO named Stan Courtney who has documented a good number of reports from Illinois, especially central Illinos area. He has a website, or did, just google Stan Courtney - lot of information. I heard a pretty good one a few months back that took place on the Illinois river when a transportation barge shinned it lights at night on a family group of Bigfoots as they were either getting into or out of the river.

No doubt Mountain Man had a Sasquatch encounter, we Louisiana born and raised men both in the northern woods and we Southern Cajuns in the swamps have had sightings. Myself, I have seen the giant upright being both in the swamps and woods and as Mountain Man stated about our southern brother & world class bass fisherman Mr. Jimmy Houston said and I know that these beings exist one hundred percent!

Government even acknowledges them, however obscurely. There’s legitimate legislation on the hunting and killing of Bigfoot in the state of Washington in the county of Skamania which is right by the county I’m from Clark county. Something along the lines of 25,000$ fine and or up to 5 years in prison. Wanna say it was 60’s and that law was made. Funny thing is they labeled Bigfoot a “forest ape” even though I’m pretty sure apes reside in jungle biomes and not forests.

My story, I was in Oregon, staying with some family, and the house was close to the woods, the fence was the tree line. So, it was early in the morning, I was sitting on a patio area in the backyard. There was a huge bush, a really big bush almost the size of a tree, no wind, no earthquake either. That bush shook like a giant had grabbed it and shook it for everything it was worth. Then it stopped, there was a low growl, and that was it, it was all over. So, bear, mountain lion, or boar? Maybe. But, that's my story.

I'm definitely a believer in Bigfoot I enjoy spending the night outside in the dark on my property just listening to the sound of the animals and often I have a visitor who comes close to me it sometimes throws a piece of a tree branch and rocks but usually it's hitting a stick on a tree so I will try hitting a couple of pieces of wood together and then we will have a conversation by hitting wood and often there is at least one more that answers from a distance. I've never seen it but I'm sure it doesn't want me to and I'm okay with respecting it. It means me no harm and I mean it no harm

First off this is classic Bigfoot behavior if they want to out of their area. Often with younger children they will be more timid and just set off and observe, especially with femanls, and other times more like what happened to Mountain Man and his friend. I remember a Duck Dynasty episode a few years back when Uncle Si went on and on about Bigfoot. However with SI, never know where he is coming from, however I suspect he knows something. Wonder if DD brothers have had any encounters being in the woods of LA as much as they have. I should add I first saw one opening day of deer season a bit west of Houghton Lake, Michigan as it crossed a muskege swamp, Nov. 15 1976, And have had other encounters and tracks and trackways found, and a tree one pulled down just 5 miles away on outskirts of a little town called Laura, Ohio. The tree was 8 inch diameter, 20 foot tall and extremely healthy and this one came out of the ground root ball and all. It left a huge 2 inch deep ground impression that was 17 inches long and 11 inches wide. It was only a few hours old as the tree had been standing the previous morning. At 200 pounds and athletic I jumped into the air and could only make an impression 1/2 inch deep. Now six months earlier this same size track was reported on the BFRO in Miami County, Oh. and witnessed several times by a homeowner for about a 6 month period. bfro.net/GDB/show_report.asp?id=33979

I was raised about 65 miles SW of Monroe. In the late 70's, I saw one watching me from about 75 yards away. Long story, but I never stepped foot in those woods again. Recently, my Dad finally opened up and told me that he too had seen something cross the road in front of him in the same general area late one night. And one of his friends saw something too. Up to his sighting, he was in the woods constantly. Afterwards, he never went into the woods again. So, something had to have been there for the 3 of us to have seen.

They are speaking Yoruba. Throughout most of the Atlantic world, Maroons play a critical role in local, regional, and even national histories. In contrast, marronage in colonial America and the early United States is largely absent from the American historical narrative. Thousands of Maroons live in wooded areas, there exists little popular awareness or understanding of the Maroons living in these places. Severe Incest and deformity as well as stomach tumors that purge foul smelling puss made integration into other communities difficult if not impossible. Many Native Americans refused to hand over their slaves and simply abandoned them into the north American wilderness. Selective breeding and incest coupled with the skills of evasion from fleeing slavery and what they learned through observation of their native American masters made them elusive and wild, in many of the explorers journals, obtained under the freedom of information act, most famously from the Land expeditions confidential correspondence to President Theodore Roosevelt, Maroons were described as huge hairy beings with misshaped heads that consumed their dead to include even the bones, and were observed relieving themselves and immediately ingesting their own waste.

I think they do exist because when I was laying in a pop-up I had a rock land on top of and then I was deer hunting and the Ozark I was laying there when my son was in town getting food for us and I was the only one there anoroc got throwed another time another rock Garth road and it was just as big as the other and my brother asked me how the hell did that get up there I said I don't know

It's possible that dad and a friend were playing a prank on the boys. Seems suspicious that he showed up at just the right time to pick them up.

Doubt it. As some one who grew up similarly…those kids probably had a pistol with them lol.

I had a similar upbringing and it was a rite of passage for us boys to be pranked like this by the men in the family. I'm not suggesting that Mountain man is lying, but he only knows his side of what actually took place, and the fact that dad showed up just at the right time and laughed when the boys told him what happened makes the story suspect. And if they did have a pistol I'm sure dad would have been aware of it.

If dad can break big logs and run in pitch dark I’m not even gonna date one of his daughters if he has any.
