In this episode of Haunted Cosmos, Brian and Ben continue Season Two by beginning our introductory series on Bigfoot! It is a phenomenon that has captured the imagination and fears of man for all of history. In Part I we ask, is there such a thing as an as yet undiscovered species of animal called Bigfoot?

I always like to imagine one group of people out in the woods looking for Bigfoot, making Bigfoot calls.. then theres a second group out there looking for Bigfoot hearing the calls and responding with calls of their own.. both groups are thrilled.. meanwhile, the real Bigfoot is sitting there listening to all of it just rolling his eyes.

One of the problems with the bigfoot hunter shows is that it is a whole film crew of people noisily hiking thru the woods to find a creature known to be elusive. You couldn’t even find a deer that way

Yes please! Also the Yowee and Hairy Man. I had a teacher at my school tell a story about the hairy man and how on his sisters farm he saw a creature amongst his cattle suddenly stand up on its front legs. This thing was humanoid like but twice the size of a person. It began charging towards my teacher and his sister and only stopped when it crashed into a fence and then got back up and ran away. I've always wanted to track down my teacher and get a written version of the full story.

You can't belive you just learned how impressionable you really are? I enjoy this content, but it is 110% conjecture, and conspiracy. Not a single thing espoused here is grounded in reality. It's assumptions, presuppositions and maybes. I can't belive we loaded to a recording of a bunch of grown men bowling at one another, and they sat their with straight faces. It's a real recording of real sounds, so it's really Bigfoot? In regards to the vocal range and bass, LOL! I'm 6'5, and my voice sounds like Kratos from God of War. Seeing them read the factual lies of the analysis of the recording literally ruined this channel for me. I can deal with conjecture and conspiracy but relaying a lie about how this was out of humanities vocal range, and the bass of the growl was lower, than the lowest toned bass every recorded, and lower than any other bass producing instrument in existence, is the most comically ignorant thing I've ever heard. You became a beliver, I walked away unable to watch anything this channel produces from how on as even remotely credible.

Your response after reading this may be “Duh” but since you mentioned the ruins in the Amazon I wanted to plead with you guys to make a Pyramids episode!! Ok here are the bullet points- •Man sought to reach the divine by building a “tower” (ziggurat/step pyramid/“ladder”) •God confused their language and spread them over the whole earth •Every single ancient culture builds pagan temple worship complexes using the same design, not necessarily because they were in communication with each other but because they all stemmed from one idolatrous, adulterous people group at the very moment they were building one. •& just a cherry on top, the parallel dragon depictions are also nearly identical across the globe. AND are aligned or connected to stars and constellations obviously fallen angel/lesser gods worship in both cases And people report to feel an energy or some uneasiness in these temples and I’d love to hear your unhinged take on why. P.S. of course the black tea square was funny!! Tin foil hats off to you guys for leaving it in.

All peoples built pyramid structures because it's literally the easiest way to go high. Even young infants figure that out quite quickly. Start with a wide base and narrow down from there to keep it stable. So that doesnt suggest anything except everyone had a basic understanding of reality. Buuut im totally interested in the pyramids. @servyhwh
@servyhwh 8 ай бұрын
@@exiledskunk5046 you don’t have to discard the argument.. both things can be true. There are far more similarities than just the shape. Prisca theologia means ancient theology and there is lots of evidence that the biblical accounts are true and the ancient cultures adapt and tell them in different ways creating differences but a common theme im applying this to the temple structures aswell
@exiledskunk5046
@exiledskunk5046 8 ай бұрын
@@servyhwh asin the argument that pyramids having been built everywhere by all peoples maybe suggesting some link is what i discard. That alone isn't enough And ofcourse the ancients would build their temples as pyramids because they'd view temples as the most important buildings so try to make them bigger than all others, hence build in the shape that was easiest to go big in

There certainly is a religious zeal attached to most bigfoot phenomena. I saw a documentary which had a town that named their Bigfoot "Mountain Man", and the town has statues and shrines of the entity. When some of the townsfolk talked about Mountain Man, they said that the beast watched over the community. Some even got tears in their eyes when talking about it. Certainly cult-like and eerie behavior. Great job, brothers!

Listening back through the series after hearing the black-eyed children episode, the idea of "not real yet but could be if demons decide to make use of it" comes to mind. Just too many thing impossible to fake back then. This is a topic i have looked into for a very long time now. The native Americans say they are a people like us but different. Woohoo! My bigfoot dream is still alive! Looking forward to this video. All my life I just wanted bigfoot to be real, I just wanted someone to finally find him. If this ties into something biblical...IM HERE FOR IT!

Anyone notice the sound design at 17:11 that sounded like the Venator alarm sound?

I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss footprint casts. They are actually extremely strong pieces of evidence. Jeff Meldrum and Jimmy Chilcutt have noted anatomical details, such as midtarsal breaks, dermal ridges, scars, deformities, etc in casts. There were two casts taken approximately 10 years and a few hundred miles apart that Jimmy Chilcutt examined when he first started looking at casts. Quick bit of background, Jimmy was a fingerprint technician in a police department crime lab for decades, as well as someone who took foot and hand prints of great apes. He was initially a skeptic of Bigfoot, until he saw that the casts he was examining were from the same individual. He noted a prominent scar, or something similar, that was evident on both casts. You are talking a level of detail that is simply far above and beyond what most people could possibly try to recreate.

I think Jasher 9:35 should be explored as a plausible lead in the investigation.

Their arms, legs and torso are the same length. Their feet have a mid tarsal break. When they move it doesn't even look real. I live in the great smokey mountains and have heard them many many times. Seen them twice. They even have a language. There is language even in the Sierra Sounds
