As some random guy on the internet I can say I am tired of people hand waving away some of the weird stuff in the world. I saw a video of someone reacting to a white object in the sky changing shapes and someone in the video said it was someone's stuff that fell from an airplane. I can see saying the video was fake but don't just throw stuff at the wall to try to ignore it.

King James edited the Bible quite a bit, which is a big NO-NO, by the way. And King James changed the passage to say "witch." The Bible actually says "poisoner." There's a big difference. Of course, the Bible is full of errors.

You guys are great but I don’t know why you lump Bible Project in with things like the Jefferson Bible or the Jesus Seminar at 1:06:41. The Bible Project doesn’t deny anything about the gospels or miracles to my knowledge. They did an entire multipart podcast series on dragons in the Bible that could have been good background research for you to prep for this episode.

It’s always been perplexing to me that the Bible speaks of these large creatures, most cultures have stories about these large creatures, we found the bones of these large creatures, and people who believe the Bible and legends are crazy. 🤷
@ethanplacella8 сағат бұрын
Ok, as a Christian, just saying I don’t think it’s coincidence many cultures around the world speak of a great flood. Many cultures also have myth and stories, pictures of dragons as well. Coincidence? I don’t think so. Jobs description in great detail of a large scaly fire breathing beast. Could dragons actually fly? Look at how bumblebees are an anomaly. Breath fire? Look up the Bombadeer Beetle that shoots fire out of its butt. I swear I get giddy like a school girl every time you guys put out a new episode. Love listening to this stuff!

At 50:20, begins the talk of Elijah and Enoch being carried to God in earthly bodies. My question, (with the 2 witnesses in Revelation 11:3 in mind) could it be possible that with God being outside of time, E&E could be transposed in time for the purposes of being God's 2 witnesses? This is in no way exegetical and is strictly theoretical.

I absolutely believe Dragons were real, but I believe they are different creatures than dinosaurs. I believe Dragons breathed fire like Leviathan but dinosaurs didn't. They were definitely the same family. Like wolves and dogs. Same family, different creature.

@AstroMonkey887 сағат бұрын
In Dinosaurs, Dragons, and the Bible by Dr. Bodie Hodge from Answers in Genesis, Beowulf is cited as a historical document referring to humans living alongside dragons. The author takes the role of it being based on something true that was turned into a fictional story.

1) We love you guys and your righteous facial hair 2) Gary Stearman theorizes that Cherubim were created with 5 heads, the ‘serpent kingdom’ obvi not being represented before the Throne. Anymore 🤔 🤷♀️ Just wanted to put that out for y’all to kick around 3) We love you guys and your righteous facial hair

I've always wished dragons were real! But I've always felt bad about it, since dragons are always portrayed in Scripture in a negative/evil fashion.
@RealExplodingButterfly10 сағат бұрын
Maybe they weren’t, always. The cherubim before the Throne have 4 heads, representing mankind, animals that fly, beasts of burden and wild animals. So where is the reptilian kingdom represented in that? 🤔 It seems worthy of discussion, that the reptilian kingdom lost its place before the Throne when the serpent-Watcher chose to branch out on its own and then to tempt Eve

56:36 Doesn’t the Bible say we’re made in the image of God and if that is the case because we have hands wouldn’t that logically deduce that God has hands?
