Couple things about the 2005 packers: 1. After Firing Ed Donatell due to the 4 and 26 playoff game in 03, the packers defense from 04-06 gave up over 22 points per game. 2. They couldn't find a way to win close games, they were 2-8 in games decided by 7 points or less. Surprising since they had won 3 straight division titles. 3. This was Ted Thompson's first year as packers GM, who let 3 pro bowl players walk without paying them. Those players were Darren Sharper, Marco Rivera, and Mike Whale. 4. The 2005 Packers was the only losing season Favre had in his 16 seasons in Green Bay. Even great quarterbacks need help to win. Something green bay management has been struggling with for quite a long time.

I still think Todd Heap woulda been a first ballot HOFer if we had a good offense and a good qb Man Boller used to force it in on Heap in slants under max coverage just to avoid getting hit instead of throwing it away at times and Todd would end up gettin so damn banged up and sometimes would catch it but other times it get turned over and he'd be concussed again

They had gotten Boller in the first round just two year before. Not every team needs a qb every year. I wish the Ravens had drafted Rodgers but the fact of the matter is that they had already gotten a first round qb a couple years ago and weren't aboutta get rid of him that quickly. In hindsight, it seems stupid for a team with such a bad qb to not draft rodgers, but they couldn't have known it at the time. Also ARod would not have been as good as he is if he hadn't sat behind Farve for so long.

So wait, if Green Bay made a fg to end the 1st quarter. Then we see them on 2nd and 7 with 14:21 to go in the 2nd quarter. How did Baltimore obviously turn the ball over? Is it really possible to receive a kickoff then go 3 and out. Punt the ball and Green Bay run a play on 1st down all in 39 seconds??? I feel like it could've been stamped onto the screen what happened, giving us a better feel for the game. I doubt all this gets read so..... It's a mystery " scooby doo".
