GWAR- bring back the BOMB

I kinda disagree tbh. Nerd talk incoming. The game lacks variety in builds and there isn't really enough specialized relics. You basically have bomb builds and orb based builds, and a couple of meme relics. The game was already incredibly easy because, even without the shop, you could easily get plenty of good relics and get an OP build going as most relics are useful. But now they've just made it even easier to get even more relics, and have more options in choosing them. (Risk of Rain 2 with its scrappers and 3D printers is probably THE best implementation of controlling builds in a roguelite I've ever seen) In other words, this shop gives TOO much control in my opinion. It works in Slay The Spire (as in this particular type of shop) cause Slay The Spire has a lot of build variety, is very hard, and a good amount of cards and relics simply do nothing for you in a run because they're specialized. But in Peglin, the game was already pretty easy to win reliably even without much control in your build. I think the game needed to have more content and build specialization before more control mechanics were implemented, and really I think it needed a more traditional roguelite shop (like Spelunky, Dead Cells, Binding of Isaac). Ideally, the Dead Cells categorical shop format. So you can't guarantee relics in every shop.

@@pagatryx5451 that's totally fair, and they'll probably change up the shops a lot as the devs keep trying to balance the game. I don't disagree it can be too easy, but I just appreciate the fact that luck can't screw you over too much. As Affif said it does seem like a good baseplate for expansion. Maybe a Dead Cells esque shop would be really good for this game! I'm not sure how the balance is on tougher levels as the other content creator I watch is just getting through the higher levels now, but it at least seems more balanced with less coins in the levels

I meant Tony Stark said it best when he fired the Jericho missile in Iron man one... "the best weapon is the one you only have to fire ONCE..." as it proceeded to level a mountain range... he technically only pushed the shoot button once... what happened afterwards, well...

@@wizardkevin101 There was no risk. He had the unicorn horn, short fuse, and enhanced gun powder. Maybe he didn't know from experience, but touching any one of those bombs would do it, and he had the tool that let him aim exactly onto a bomb.

@@wizardkevin101 It gives you another chance to chose you direction after you activate all the bombs

@@wizardkevin101 If you blow up all the bombs your ball actually disappears, you get a free relic and then take a new navigation shot

Peglintuition, which gives an extra choice in all battle and chest rewards. They're eventually adding classes with different selections of orbs and relics, so the peglin class starts with this relic to help reduce the RNG of his loot pool being everything in the game.

After cruciball level 9 i just use quit to menu/reload to get a good build

I too was disappointed when he got the relic where bombs can destroy nearby pegs and bombs. It’s the only way to take advantage of it
