Great job guys. It’s nice to see people who actually understand framing building a deer blind. Most videos on here are homeowner hack-jobs.

I love the huge blind! You can have the grandchildren to teach them to hunt . But the best part is there is room for a cot so you can go out the night before instead of trying to get there in the dark (making noise).

I was thinking of doing about the same. I have a steep hill so gonna make one side level with top of hill. I have 4 old wooden dock sections laying around.

That would be awesome on the side of a hill like that

It’s on a huge food plot… and something that big can’t be hid easily… but it’s main purpose is for shooting long range targets.

6x6 posts and 2x8 joists?
@nails2wood6912 жыл бұрын
Yes, 6x6 posts with double 2x10 bands, 2x8 floor joists and then we wrapped the posts with 2x8’s. We only wrapped the posts because after it was built the posts looked a bit small compared to the top

@@nails2wood691 Did you use (2) double 2x10's with the 2x8's attached + (2) other regular 2x10's on each side? Did you notch the posts or just set things on top? And what are the floor dimensions? Thinking of making mine 10x12.
