Back in the day, I learned how to make Quake 2 levels with QuArK. I built levels based on Wolfenstein 3D but using the Q2 enemies. When I shared them with Usenet, I would include a file with a extra level that would spawn all the bosses on you, in a very small room. (The end of each level would send you to another level, unless you didn't have that level.)
