Also, never quit. Even if you are having a terrible season. You at least owe it to your league mates to field a roster every week.

I would add one on here: Don't draft a player that you don't believe in because somebody else told you how good they were going to be. If the player faulters you are going to be mad and blame that person for leading you astray. It is your team, so draft guys you believe in.

It’s who you draft in the latter rounds that makes a significant difference in your team. NO kicker or Def until the last two rounds! 😂 Also, smart waiver adds, not quitting on a player and dropping them instantly. And the most important thing: “I’d rather be lucky than good.” Ok, some skillz, but a whole lotta luck!

The knowledge continuously being dropped on this pod is straight 🔥🔥🔥. I participated in a 12 person IDP league and the players being skipped was astounding. I acquired a few and targeted a few high volume plays and I ended up winning the entire thing. Trust the process and listen to the Fantasy Headliners!!

Had pretty good luck over the years with rookies, Got Gibbs, Addison and Achane last year's draft. Like to do at minimim 10 mock drafts per pick # in 10 team. Also like to screenshot the rankings an hour or so before real draft for most updated rankings. The channel and content has help me lots over the past few years, hoping to get that championship this year, runner up twice in last 3 years

#6...this! I dare say that I have been drafting as long as anyone and this piece of advise is key! Not drafting a player at a discounted value because you predetermined you didn't want them is a huge mistake. Your emotions, feelings and bias have no place in the draft room. Don't pass on a great deal because of feelings, look at the math, it never lies

Great content, player bias is my biggest issue, though it usually is based on overall tram patiently. Still good to think in terms of player value and if that player, where I would pick them up if they fell to me at that threshold.

I would add be organized and mentally prepared on draft day.. Don't freak out under pressure, and the way to do that is by watching the headliners and using their draft guide. You will be so prepared to grab the next best available player without panic or indecision.2) I never take rookies until late, my bad but the risk on them is high. 3)I think it is really hard to draft a guy who really burned you previously. Those players drop in my rankings and usually don't make it to me. Something I need to get over but it aint easy Burn me once, shame one you, burn me twice shame on me. 4) Good idea drafting in different positions on a mock draft. I will try that one. Thanks Jake

Recency bias and small sample are the only ones I fall for. I still use it as a part of larger pool of info, but I can let it take too large if a share. Gave Davis 2 years ago being a prime example. But he did have opportunities, just didn’t capitalize.

My team last year 12 person league consisted of an absolute GARBAGE draft team. Only Saquon, Breece and AJ Brown were on my roster end of season. I did however draft Achane and Collins late. I picked UP Tank Dell, Puka Nacua, Sam Laporta, and CJ Stroud. I named my team Rookies Better Than Bijan (to poke at a friend who drafted Bijan at 1.7) and ended up winning my first championship. Thanks for all the amazing advice headliners!!!

1. For rookies it better to look at film and make your own decisions than to believe the garbage hype surrounding them from reporters just playing shit up. 2. Make your own hot takes never believe others. Do your research and believe in yourself but be ready to adapt. 3. Recency bias is one of those things I am good at avoiding luckily I am always looking to future (which can also hurt) 4. I mostly follow major team changes such as coaching staff and players changing teams. Trying to cram last minute for the test leads to poor results so at least do a little studying in off season. 5. Just agree. Teams change and understanding those changes will lead to more success than using past small sample size data (sometimes even large sample sizes can lie to you) Skipping the obvious 10. I do this all the time it is a flaw but also leads to a lot of success as at least I am trying to get 100% correct then settling with the 60-70% i do get correct and the 1 or 2 league winning steals that brings me to the playoffs most years while adapting quick to busts to get waiver wire gold. 11. Our league is always after pre-season for drafts and that is a must. This year though a couple is camping through to week one and we might have to draft early to fit them in (which is annoying as everyone else knows this exact thing)
