Herbert does not surprise me, he was the qb1 last year before his bye, and then once he got injured and his entire receiving core got injured is when he started faltering

I would take Allen over Hurts. I think Saquon takes some goal line touches bringing the number of TDs Hurts gets on the ground . Allen has no one to take the rushing TDs from. I think this is what separates them.

Allen has done fine and has been a top 3 qb in fantasy even without good wrs, also last year he did more with the "bad recievers" than his studs. Only reason Hurts is in the top qbs is because of the tush push shoving him into the endzone. Do we really rely on hurts doing that again? More teams are figuring out how to stop that play.

As an Eagles fan I'm worried for Hurts because they treat him like a full back. He's not scrambling and sliding or running out of bounds. He's grinding out 4 yd runs between the tackles. It's bizarre. 157 carries to average less than 4 YPC is crazy. Plus he's not a great passing QB so if he loses rushing volume to Barkley he's not going to make it up with his arm.

Hurts over Allen 1. Hurts has a true number 1 receiver and number 2 plus a solid TE. Allen has two good maybe very good TEs this year but no number 1 with experience. Advantage Hurts receiving core. 2. Running game: Saquan is better than any combination of RBs Allen has to work with plus a better O line. Because they have such a good receiving group opposing Ds can't stack the box and both Hurts and Saquan can find big running lanes. Although Hurts doesn't historically dump off passes to the RB they paid a lot of money to Saquan (uncharacteristically for RB position) They didn't pay all that money for Saquan to only run the ball. Hurts will have the best receiving options this year than he's had in his career. Allen does have Cook but his biggest receiving threat is Kincaid. Defenses can stay stacked and hurt both Allen and Cook in terms of running and open lanes. Advantage Hurts. 3 Schedule: Buffalo's last 4 fantasy games of the season 49ers, Rams, NE, Jets. Tough Defenses when you need points the most. The Eagles finish with the Panthers, Steelers, Commanders, Cowboys. Advantage Hurts

Man, that is an annoyingly hard decision. I think it's Allen over Hurts, slightly. Arguments: I think it comes down to tuddys. They both had 15 rushing TDs, but Allen didn't have the Tush Push. Diggs and Davis were a let down, Allen was still a legit passer with more tuddys. And last, adding Barkley and losing Kelce could affect Hurts' goal line work

Tough choice because they both have the rushing ability but I will go with Hurts because his weapons are the same with the addition of Barkley while Allen lost some weapons. Both are great QBs though, but I will lean towards Hurts.

Only argument I can make for Allen is that having lost his best receivers he'll likely be spreading the ball around more so defenses will have more trouble keying in on who to double team.

I'd pick Allen over Hurts; Now that Allen is lacking a "known" quality receiving core and Bills run game is lacking, Allen will be (again) using his legs to rack up the yards and rushing TD's; As for Hurts, his last season's multiple "tush-push" TDs will not continue due to injury risk and now Barkley is carrying the rock. I think since Josh doesn’t have the receivers this season, his rushing yards are going to be crazy. Hurst has receivers and a a running back with fresh perspective and the tush push may not be there like last year. I’m taking Hurts because of less chance of injury as a result of not having to potentially run so much but I think they will have a very close rank by seasons end.

My argument for Hurts is the obvious improvement to his weapons and the continued decline in Josh Allen’s weapons. Every year it seems like Hurts is given more talent to work with and be successful while Buffalo is constantly loosing talent.

Last year I had 8 Yahoo Prize league teams: 2 with Allen/Jefferson - 2 with Hurts/Smith - 2 with Mahomes/Kelce and 2 with Herbert/Ekeler. 3 of my teams finish in the money: my 2 teams with Allen first and second and one with Hurts third. Mahomes/Kelce totally screwed me. Never again. They play too safe just to make it to the playoffs healthy and then turn it on. Too late for FF playoffs. I finished in the money with Allen past 3 seasons so he's got my vote. He's a tough dude and will probably play hard as usual no matter what hand he's been dealt. 👍

Have to go with Hurts over Allen. He was already safer last year while his offense has improved for this season, while Allen's offense has downgraded. On top of that, Hurts ADP is slightly better value as well.

The receivers is really the difference right now. Hurts has great receivers and Barkley (though that other side is that he might lose out on the tushpush while Allen scores more with his legs).

I feel like with the eagles, they basically kept their whole team plus added barkley. Losing Kelce hurts for sure, but I'd argue Allen losing Diggs is much more detrimental. Personally I'm riding w/ Hurts. Just seems like the safer and more consistent option

The only reason I would take Allen over hurts is because I believe that Allen uses his canon arm a bit more, but at this point, he’s really got nobody to throw to and hurts always has the upside which is better for points.

Allen will have less passing yards, more rushing, similar tds. Still successful in redzone. Hurts part of great offense, less weather concerns than buffalo, plays in softer defensive conference, better o line, same rushing upside. I would draft hurts over allen

Headliner nation… I need some advice! I would really love to hold off drafting a QB until the later rounds because I really want Pursy this year. One of if not the most explosive offense in the league. Although, the last 3 years in my league I have drafted a dual threat QB and have either won my championship or lost in the championship all 3 years. Really torn here, I’ve always loved to start my draft, RB, WR then an elite QB by rounds 3/4 but I kinda want to switch it up this year.

💯 percent drafting Hurts over Allen this yr. I mean we just got Barkley and Allen lost his best weapons. I think it’s a no brainer! I will say I can see Allen leading qbs in rushing yrds and rushing TDS!

Hurts. Strong offensive line with proven weapons, unlike Allen, who lost his go-to in Diggs. He still has Shakir and Kincaid, but there's going to be some growing pains. Then you have the brotherly shove, which is easy money for Hurts. Even without Kelce, they know what they need to do to be successful with it. Just my take.

My argument for Allen over Hurts: Gabe Davis and Diggs didnt give him his ceiling. His rushing upside should still be there, if not more, because the offense will be more reliant on him. Assuming health of course. on the other side, Hurts now has Saquon and it can actually take away from Hurts rushing upside. of course the tush push will still be in play. but we can see a shift in Hurts decision making now that Barkley's there for a checkdown, instead of Hurts running himself. (im playing a bit of devils advocate here bc i would usually take Hurts > Allen in a draft)

Hurts over Allen all day this year for fantasy. Hurts has what should be an improved play caller, Barkely who will force defenses to pay attention to him, more pre snap motion from his receivers under Kellen Moore which should improve the passing game. Best of all, Hurts plays in a wide open NFC conference. Allen on the other hand has to navigate an entire new WR core filled with rookies and role players where as Hurts had his top 2 weapons extended. Josh Allen didn’t really become the Josh Allen we know now until Diggs arrived so we have to see how he will perform this year without a true #1. I think Allen will still be good but Hurts has so much more going for him in the right direction.

Knowing Josh Allen, he will be running more than his running back. Hurts will have a legit running back in Barkley who I think gets more goal line work than people think. Both are out for blood after falling short to the CHIEEEFS so because of the weapons at disposal, I gotta go with Hurts. But! I like both 🔥

Hurts is the pick, let Allen go first qb overall take someone like Kelce instead who could easily come back as TE 1 this year take hurts as your next pick. jalen hurts plays in an easier division. afc north is a bloodbath and w/ the new offensive players, im not confident that they will have high scoring offense compared to eagles. the knock on hurts is saquon vulturing tds but saquon might just end up being the tide that lifts all ships in the offense

I like hurts over allen more for the fact we have yet to see hurts and his passing ceiling he has the weapons over allen and yes kelce will be missed but you cannot replace a entire revving core in a off-season and change OC and think that the most turnover prone qb isn't gonna force more balls into tight windows

I think Jalen Hurts should be drafted AFTER Josh Allen because I think we are undervaluing the loss of Jason Kelce. I do not think the tush push will be as effective which will cost him at those goal line touches. Which is why they got someone like Saquon Barkley with as strong of legs as Hurts. I think they also want to reduce the amount of injuries Hurts gets towards the end of the season. Josh Allen I found was more efficient without Diggs and Davis and getting rid of those guys allows for the others to finally come into their own. The Bills might be behind in more games with a weaker defense and they will chase games. I think the Eagles also have a better defense now than this past year with their editions so running the ball with Saquon will be a big emphasis. We'll see how it goes!

I don’t like the lack of weapons in Buffalo… Jalen Hurts is fine but I probably won’t draft him because I’ve seen him go in the 3rd round I’d snag hurts in the 4th round if he fell

Might not be the best take but I would take hurts over Allen just because the WR. Bills just lost their top two and hard to justify picking him over hurts with the weapons he has.

Risk score needs to include injuries. I prefer 7th overall QB than I guy who scores top 3, but only plays 8 games Allen- He's the only option. Everything will be on his shoulders. He can carry the offense. Hurts has a ton of weapons and better running game. They may run him less because Barkley is there.

Hurts will have more scoring opportunities behind a better offensive line, with better options and the addition of Barkley. Moore calling the plays is also a plus.

Besides having more risk ,Josh Allen has less talented receivers . The Eagles pass protection is superior to the Bills as well.

Allen will have more spy on him since diggs and davis is gone, you keep 2 guy closer to the line watching over cook and Allen because you are not worring about diggs or the bombs to davis. With barkley, brown, smith and goedert you need to respect the passing game

Josh allen over Hurts for one reason Kelce retiring. The tush push is not going to be as easy with a new center. Kelce was 85% of the reason why that worked so well so if you take away the 1-yd td rushes from Hurts I believe Josh Allen finishes ahead of Hurts.

Mahommes is the best real life QB but the chiefs play a safe slow game now. If they’re down in the 4th they have mahommes who can just kick it on and go. It’s boring to watch but they know how to win and make it seem easy.

Seems a little wild to me. Hurts is surprising even though we all know how good he is. Philly didn't do so great last year, so I expected Hurts to drop a good bit. Same thing with Mahomes and Goff. I need to stop judging my QBs by how the team performs as a whole.

Two reasons why hurts will have less qb 1 finishes, Barkley and Kelce. That's at least 6tds being taken away from hurts. The NFL adapts and the tush push without Kelce will be just a push. Plus with Barkley there and not Swift, why risk Hurts?

Jalen hurts should be drafted over Josh Allen. Hertz has a better supporting cast with two dynamic receivers that can stretch the field. Then he has Dallas, when healthy can catch anything over the middle. Also a great running back that can catch. Josh Allen lost his top receiver and no new talent was added. So a lack of veteran leadership and proven players, I believe Josh Allen won't do as good as Hurts.

Allen lost too many weapons, and the Bills are currently below-average compared to the rest of the league in cap space, meaning the likelihood of a big trade coming to give Allen help isn't good. Allen > Hurts: Game script. The Bills lost tons of defensive weapons and will likely be playing from behind quite a bit. James Cook has yet to break out as well, so Allen may call his own number at the goal line. Neither is a bad choice, though. Good luck, headliners!
