Muzz and myself had a score to settle so we went out and tried our luck in an absolutely amazing part of the Island. Muzza had always wanted to try an OTL lure and this trip was about to break his Summer long dry spell! Awesome mission with Muzz and my trusty old dog named Boy.

Superb action, and the scenery alone is breathtaking, good old boy right there with you, very few things in life beat going fishing with a pair of great friends.

Insane man...one can never get tired of big kingies, what a thrill! Just keep cranking them and pumping the videos here, no doubt of the best photage on YT! NZ shore lines still remain a fairly well protected "paradise", everybody should do their best to protect them and mantain them the way they are, with those good fish stocks, that is the only way to keep enjoying those amazing fish. The Azores used to be that way, with huge greater amberjacks patroling the shore line...nowdays, there is a handfull of hidden fishing spots across the islands that are hard to reach and fish, and even there coming across those big fish is getting harder and harder...the greed of some men ruins all that is good on earth sadly... It is always a pleasure to watch your vids, keep up the good work! ;)

Easier if you put the power handle on the left side of the reel and hold the pole with your right hand if your right handed. Same goes the opposite if your left handed. Vise versa.

Hi Joe I noticed you use a rubber band or mono to tie the belly treble against the lure. Have you noticed a better hookup rate doing this? I also thought I saw you using a stella on your insta. Have you gone back to the trusty saragosa for any reason?

Hey man thanks for the comment. The tie back helps in many ways. It helps prevent hook rash and keeps the hooks in a good part of the lure to help with getting a hookup. I have used plenty of different reels lately, ive had my Saragosa for about 8 years maybe haha, theres some sentimental value there. It has caught me some fish in its day
