Hey Maya! My mom is THE Dr. Julie. As a kid that grew up with a parent who did animal care and research I was stoked when I found your channel to see more folks running education on the importance of primates in our ecosystem! I showed my mom your channel and although she’s not super tech savvy she wanted to help the sanctuary by donating supplies! Herself and all of her students are so happy you are able to put them to good use. When it comes to animal care it really takes a village, Alveus has such amazing staff and such a supportive online community it gives me and my mom so much hope. If you ever want to talk with my mom more about monkey care or have her on a stream let me know!

Hi Alveus! This is Julie, the professor who sent the toys and supplies. Please feel free to use the toys with any of your animals; if it's too much for the marmosets, I think many of your bird friends would enjoy them (or ferrets or rats, etc). Keep doing what you do! It's important!

@@lizacrochets98 They aren't for interaction as much as they are for promo purposes. Maybe they like the podcast and want it to blow up so it doesn't get cancelled for lack of viewership? It costs money and probably a lot of time researching too.

SKILL ISSUE!! 😏 I once found out that if I changed my computers date/time, LiveJournal (old blog site) would actually use it to timestamp the post. So I made a post that was from some year in the 2100s. 😎 _(don't worry, it doesn't work on KZfaq, so no one can circumvent you thwarting their attempts at "First"... at least I don't think... I'll change my phone's before posting this [EDIT: Yea, no. I set it to June 30th and everything is 👌])_

It's such a serotonin dump! Also wasn't something I actually thought I'd be interested watching, but totally got into it... It's wholesome to see everyone gifting to not just the animals, but the staff. There's humorous moments, educational moments, and all around it's just interesting to see all the goodies that arrive. 😊

I love being a VOD frog, I've been watching this locked in since 2 am, it's nearing 6 am 😅 this is enriching for me LOL If you ever decide on more animals and already have your dream list complete I would love to see guinea pigs!! 3 wonderful hours? I’m broke so so I get enjoyment out of this. But it’s good background noise for me and occasionally looking at the screen as I work on stuff I also own Loop earplugs and they have saved me. They helped a lot at wrestling shows. Now I can also go to a concert for once in my life.

They're still catching up on building things. They have Push Pop's enclosure to build, the reef tank to order and install, and the reptile enclosures to finish up, maybe more I can't remember |edit| probably a small amount left on the wolfdog building
