Well he may have been if he had played Rugby League. RU was at the time a semi professional sport and overall a poor standard. If he had gone yo the Ausdie NRL or even the UK Super League we would have seen how good he was. If they had the best of everything like the top tier nations then it would be Samoa, Tonga or Fiji winning world cups.
